My prediction for tommorow night: Coventry Blaze 5-2 Milton Keynes, Carps and Kurt are bound to score for the Lightning and for us I reckon Tait will get 2, Joel will get 1 and also 1 of the new boys will score a couple.

6-4 to the Blaze. Jody isn't going to be in goal and I think MK will get a few at least.

Apparently Joe Watkins will be making a guest appereance in Jody's absense. I don't understand why we don't ice Dan Shea and give him some experience and just have Joe Watkins as the back-up for the night.

Both Joel, Jody and Andre are all here. Andre has been here since saturday and Jody and Joel arrived this morning. Dan carlson will arrive tomorrow morning all being well and Neal Martin next tuesday which will just leave our mystery NHLer.
Jody and Joel will dress tonight but I would imagine Jody will be splitting the duties with back up netminder Dan Shea in order for Dan to get some ice time

Im happy with that start, a decent performance, very good concidering it was the 1st time most of the team have played together. All 3 of their goals were on the powerplay so on first impressions the defense looked good. Andre Payette looks very handy. We may finnally have the big enforcer we have been waiting for, he scored 2 nice goals as well. Dan Shea made a couple of good stops when he came on. All in all well played Blaze. One thing though, I aint sure that the new announcer was correct when announcing the shots on goal. I am sure we had more than what he said and they had less. Other than that I think that I can speak for a lot of Blaze fans in saying we will get used to him and come to like him as an announcer.

Great, many would have expected a wipeout result, though MK have made few changes to their squad and we iced our Brits and the Telford three often (pleasently surprised). So much promise for our team, firstly, of course Payette, it's good to know that he can dish out the hits and play hockey (first class, watch out Craighead), second Joal & Jody, first game back and still as good as ever, Calder looks great, quick sniper type player (glad for that, I bought the shirt), Mihalik and Vrabel, solid no nonsense D-line, crisp passing and very technical, Schuller, looks like he can hadle thigs well and will almost certainly pair up with Martin, also liking the third line of Sclender centre, Watkins right and Cowley left, working well together. With our NHLer soon to come (I'm sure), once we gel, we look like THE team to beat, because we'll be the best.

No doubt you look good guys but to say u are THE team to beat this early on in the season is a bit ludicrous, but i do actually have u down as League winners.
Best of luck from Cardiff and i look forward to visiting the skydome on saturday
