Well, me, Whiskey, James, Graeme, and a few others-I can only take full credit for the Mihalik, Martin, Pease and Mackriel songs...
In a short while, the opposition and general songs will go up in preparation for tonight...

To the tune of Come On Eileen... Come on Andre Score a goal, save the day Drop your gloves, go insane, let's see some foul play Well, it's better than just singing his name

Dug this one up and I have to say like Come On Eileen as a tune. Maybe it will fit a new arrival at the end of the week... fingers crossed

Funny you should mention that-have songs for several of the rumoured arrivals, with the most likely being to the tune of Come On Eileen-however, we shouldn't really write it until it's confirmed-even though the world and his wife knows who the NHL player is most likely to be...

i was singing music man today for some reason but then i started changing the words and came up with a song for the blaze although it may sound a bit rubbish it goes:
I am the powerplay guy I come from far away and I can score (and i can score) On the powerplay Power Power Power Play Power Play Power Play Power Power Power Play Power Power Play GOAL!
you could sing it after we score a powerplay what do u all think?

That is actually a bloody good idea-if we cut the beginning bit and just go from 'power power power-play' that could be a goer-definitely worth a try...

And now we've come up with trying the Music Man for a Mick Vrabel goal at home games, with Hey Mickey for anything else he does then!
Still need to crowbar a version of the chant Dundee did for Martin Wiitta for any of our players who fit the chant and haven't a sig tune yet (maybe our new mystery man or Neal Martin)

Here are some songs for us. Not for a player but for the whole team.
Top Of The League Havin A Larf We're Top Of The League Havin A Larf
or how about
We Are Top Of The League Say We Are Top Of The League We Are Top Of The League Say We Are Top Of The League (continued till we get bored)
and for the more optimistic fans
We're Gona Win The League We're Gona Win The League And Now Your Gona Believe Us And Now Your Gona Believe Us And Now Your Gona Believe Us We're Gona Win The League.
*EDIT* Before I get hung for that last post can I just say that I know we aint top of the league outright because we won a game in overtime where as the Devils picked up there 4 wins in normal time. However, I have convinced myself that we are "Joint Top" as we are level on points with Devils so nobody spoil that for me.
Edited for double-post

The ruling is messy as a few years back in the BNL, the head-to-head results counted directly after points. Hopefully Blaze and Devils can repeat the glory year of 2003 and contest the finals again!

Tell me what you all think, does it have potential?
"Cheer up Sheff-ield Steelers (add any team or coach) Oh, what can it mean with our Pavol.....Mihalik and our big Vrabel toooo"
To the tune of 'Daydream Believer'
Thought of it at work today when that song came on, the original lol.

I think using that as a tune is good (Seem to remember we did a Marple/Flames version a couple of years back at the Fish Finger Cup weekend) not sure if the words need a bit of a tweak though.
What do the peeps (Anyone guess my fave WWE star) think?
