It seems that many have conceded the title (To a very good Steelers team) either publically or privately, Is this realistic now that games are running out and Blaze's possibilities rely on way too many IFs?
For me Steelers have played consitently the best throughout and will be fully deserving of any accolades they receive. It's been a while for the Yorkshire Nation

Not too many IFs no. Just 1. As long as Blaze match Steelers results, win the games in hand, and beat them the in the 2 remaining games (all things that are in Blaze's hand, and Blaze ARE capable of) all it takes in one Steelers loss in regular time, or 2 in over-time, and Blaze can go top.
In their remaining 13 games, only 1 of Steelers opponents hasn't beaten them this season. The other 12 games are against teams who have beaten them.
As I stated in the scoreboard thread, it's not likely, it's a big ask, but the title race IMO is by no means over.

All area's of the team have had bad days! offensive- they have had periods of lost confidence in front of the net and defensively the same, a lack of confidence. It is wrong to lay the blame all at JF's door!

It'll be over when it's mathematically impossible for us to win, until then, anything can happen.

I'm agreeing with StormingNorman and Nick.
Jody pretty much won the game for the Steelers last weekend with an awesome display of goalkeeping. JF on the other hand flapped around for a bit and was lucky to only concede 2.
Just a little bit of fun here but has anyone else noticed that JF conceded 2 in the first 5 minutes against Sheffield, but in about 4 minutes without a goalie (end of Phoenix and Steelers games) we didn't conceded a single goal! Anyone in favour of starting with 6 outskaters against Cardiff...................?!?! lol

Yes JF let 2 in and if I remember rightly 1 of them managed to get between 4 outfield players before getting anywhere near the net. Should a D-man have been able to stop it, or are they there for another purpose?
The reviesd lines at Hull the day before worked really well but Thommo changed them for the Steelers. And before anyone says I'm definitely not saying Thommo should go, he's why Blaze have been so good, but perhaps the lines need looking at.
If we don't win any silverware this year I'll still be buying my season ticket for next year. For any Blaze people reading this stick with it guys, even Man Utd have off days, weeks, seasons. (And they're crap anyway) .... Up the Blaze !
