Believe me, there's nothing on here that comes close to what that muppet was posting. How many posts from Panthers fans have you had to delete because they were inappropriate? As I said, it was going to happen, people aren't going to just take it, they will respond. Couldn't care less about what is posted on the Cage forum, fact is it wasn't posted on here and you shouldn't really respond to it here as it has nothing to do with this forum (other than the fact that this is a Blaze forum.) Kinda pointless posting it on anyone else's forum don't you think? It's called tit for tat, it isn't clever but it happens all the time. |

Was just about to post the link on Blaze TV to the highlights from this game, I think if anything they showed that at least Blaze arn't sire losers and the club can make fun of themselves. For some reason though they appear to have been deleted.

I'm guessing they've been taken down because the full highlights are going to be shown on Sky. I think it happened last time it was a Sky game as well.

Just read this on a Panthers forum.
Thommo the red faced Blaze coach
Had a very angry face
After the team called Panthers
Beat his Blaze 4-0 at their place
Prior to this encounter
Thommo laughed and called them names
He branded them ‘Team Hollywood’
And he thought the coach was lame
Then one chilly Sunday Night
Panthers came to Blaze
Blaze’s red shirts were very bright
But Panthers made the Blaze look s*i*e!
Now that he’s learnt his lesson
From ‘Team Hollywood’ winning the game
Thommo the red faced Blaze coach
Won’t talk crap to the press again!

We put banners up etc to try and bug your players and give Blaze an advantage (Ok it didn't work but that's beside the point) Your fans came up with a song simply to gloat about winning one game. |

Steph, I don't think of myself as a bad winner and don't intend to come over as one. But we are (maybe over) celebrating this one because it might be another 8 visits until we win at the skydome again. Who knows!? I never said your fans were responsible for the PR. They weren't originally. But I really don't think Thommo, Andy Buxton, Carlyle Lewis, Deschatelets, Carlson, Calder or any one else at the club made all those banners. On the other hand, there are no fingers pointing to anyone on this forum, but we do have some Blaze fans come on to The Cage to stir it up (probably from thf). I know I have added a few posts on here but I have tried to make it light hearted banter rather than something that could be provocative and cause over-reaction, I would never come into someone else's house to be rude. Off topic for a second. The Slash smiley  . Should it be smoking on a forum open to the public? edit**Oh yeah!! Merry Christmas to you all |

Fair enough, but just because some Blaze fans go on the cage to stir things up (which you presumably don't exactly like) doesn't make it ok to do it on this one, especially when you're not even sure those Blaze fans are on here. Most of your organisation took it in the good natured banter that it was, and as for commenting on the one dissenting voice about us going on your forum! We all know him he loves to swim against the tide for his own amusement and he can be quite funny and entertaining as well!
In the end your coach labelled our team and coach and by association all of us as Team Hollywood, so the fact that his crass comment has come back to bite him on the bum was always going to get a bigger reaction than normal.
As for Dave the obvious beer drinking guy first paragraph spot on but then you sink to stereotyping hype with the gun capital link, factual incorrect and also likely to inflame a debate and steer it into areas we do not need to go into ok!
As for blaze fans yes you have idiots so do we but the size of your rink makes them stand out more simple as that!
Just to close my daughter spent four years in the residential college in Tile Hill, so i have spent many a good night in cov, so therefore it is not personal steph as i have no axe to grind with cov really, it is banter between fans nothing more nothing less, so really not worth your moralising sermon right through this thread is it Steph it makes your stance look a little ungracious in my view!

ok steph one last time, you object to a few people joining your forum, so perhaps we are far more tolerant on ours,most of your replies have been about as crass as thomo so far, they are also factually incorrect , for example you said you cannot see the point of someone putting a spoof song from our fanzine on your forum, agree steph and if your blaze fan had not done it , you would not have seen it! also one of your main contributors refers to nottingham as gun city not once but all the time, so defend that muppets comments, factually yet again incorrect and meant to inflame a discussion not enhance it dont you think! Also that comment shows he appears to have very little intelligence Personally unlike us who generally win or lose with the same good grace you are not used to coming unstuck on your own ice and the only comeback you have is to moan about a few people having a joke at your coaches expense, god how bad are we? So Steph get over it nobody died we had a laugh, your chance will come no doubt! If though you object to hockey fans on your foum i will go now ok  |
