The festive season starts now with the launch of the Blaze Christmas jersey
This Sunday when we take on the Nottingham Panthers at the Skydome, the Blaze will take to the ice in special Christmas jerseys for one night only. Christmas jerseys have proved to be incredibly popular with supporters and once again, Blaze fans will have the chance to own these one off shirts straight after the game.
The auction for these jerseys will start immediately with Blaze season ticket holders having an exclusive bidding period from now until doors open for the game on Sunday. On the night of the game, bidding will be open to everyone.
The minimum bid for a jersey is £50 and bids must go up in multiples of £5. There is a ‘buy it now’ price of £200 for any jersey, with the first person bidding that amount winning the jersey. Any bid of £200 must be paid for in full at the time of making the bid.
The auction for all the jerseys will close as the puck drops to start the third period of the game against the Panthers. Payment for shirts can be made with cash, cheque or by credit card.
At the end of the game, all the players will come over to the Blaze team bench and will hand their shirts, straight off their backs, to the winning bidders (subject to payment having been made). Each winning bidder will have their photo taken with the player and their shirt and will receive a complimentary, mounted copy of the photograph.
The following shirts are available.
#4 Coleman, #6 Jamieson, #7 Henry, #8 Wood, #9 Kelman, #14 Weaver, #17 Cowley, #18 Moore,
#20 Watkins, #21 Deschatelets, #24 Lewis, #25 Calder, #26 Carlson, #28 LeClair, #29 Perras,
#31 Fone, #39 Stewart, #61 O’Connor, #77 Soderstrom. Blood Shirt numbers #15 and #16 are also available.
Bids can be placed any time from now by calling into the Hockey Locker in person or by phoning the Locker on 02476 631352. The auction will continue during the game on Sunday and the auction table on the night will be at the open end of the ice.
We are expecting a very large crowd for Sunday’s game and supporters are advised to book their tickets early, either from the box office on 02476 630693 or by booking online at www.coventryblaze.co.uk
