Belfast Giants have defeated Sheffield Steelers in the Preliminary Round of the British Knockout Cup. I believe this now means they have a plum quarter final tie with the best team of all of the time Coventry Blazers.

To be honest unless they do what they did two season's ago and make the final a one off game I can't see Blaze not retaining this cup. Nobody will beat us over two legs.

Only realised this this morning when I was thinking about it but Blaze havn't lost a cup or playoff tie over two legs (not including shootout defeats) since Dundee beat us in the 2001-02 BNL Playoff Final.

You have way too much time on your hands mate I detest that remark, being Intercontiental Champion takes up a lot of my time, having to watch my back incase anyone decides to take a cheap shot. You should be flattered that I find time in my busy schedule to work out such facts and point them out to all my fans.
