The Odyssey is definatley the best arena to watch ice hockey in, even though the games meant nothing (points-wise) there was still a nice little atmosphere, especially on Saturday 6,000+ in the 'O' ;D That's the largest attendance i've been part of in my three or so years of watching the Blaze.
Oh yeh, the Belfast fans were excellent - very friendly (i don't have a bad thing to say about any of them from the whole time we were over their) Thankyou for making us all welcome - top class! See you all soon.
...Even though myself, Laura and Wheeler all took the long route to Belfast - it was still a good laugh..as i'm sure PW will let you all know when he posts his diary.

What an excellent weekend I agree with John, even though we took a little longer to get there, it was good fun on the way, London have 2 curbs!! (Hehe) I can't wait for the Play-off weekend ;D

Right the games may not have mean't anything but they were entertaining none the less. Not the most physical of games but end to end stuff with 23 goals scored over the two games. The teams looked relaxed even though they both wanted to win. It was top. It reminded me of when I was at Primary School and we used to play football in the playground. No preasure everyone enjoying themselves but wanting to get one over on our mates. It was a master stroke by Thommo giving Danny Shea both games as the experience he will have gained could really help him. I reckon the amount of shots in both games must be higher than in any other Elite League game this season. Not quite sure of the exact statistics though. The atomosphere on Friday night was great with a few of us Blaze fans at the back of the block along with a few Giants fans, which created some good banter that was all good fun. Saturday's atomosphere was good too although personally I felt a bit tired from the night before so I couldn't appreciate it as much as I would have usually. My own fault though for only getting about four hours sleep the night before. Also I loved the Odyssey as a complex. Its a shame Belfast is so far out the way because it would be a great venue for the playoff weekend other than that. I hope we see Belfast at the playoff weekend because they are a prety entertaining team to watch with the BEST fans (sorry fellow Blaze fans) in the Elite League.

RichBlaze has it spot on with Giants fans. Remember last years play off finals when they were the noisiest fans and their team wasn't even there
