I heard from a friend the other day that certain players are leaving after the season has ended. One of which is Adre payette. Is it true.  |

I only wanted to know theres no need to be rude about it. It's just that i wonder why there leaving considering we've had such a great season.

You always get these rumours going around at this stage of the season. The best thing to do is ignore them because the chances are there is no truth in them what so ever. I bet Thommo hasn't even decided who he wants to stay and who he wants to go yet. I bet most of the players don't even know what they are doing themselves yet. So rumours aint worth worrying about. Just enjoy the fact that we have players like Andre in the team at the moment.

Like Rich says, most of the players don't know what they will be doing next season. Its all down to negotiations in the closed season.  |

When I last spoke to Andre (a couple of weeks ago) he said that he would not be coming back to coventry next season.
That is from the horses mouth so to speek. But things could have changed between now and then.

I had 30 second conversation with Russ Cowley last night and when I asked him if he was coming back he said "who knows?" so that was probably him basically saying he doesn't know whether he is coming back or not yet or that he doesn't want to say anything to fans until it is confirmed what he is doing.

Gazza first of all, welcome to the Blaze forum.
Secondly, as RichBlaze has said, don't worry too much about rumours at this stage of the season - no one can really say who's going to stay/go just yet. Just enjoy the rest of the season, and wait and see what happens over the off-season.

these players have had a very succesful season so far with possibly (and hopefully) more success to come.
add this to thier CV's and i'm sure they can attract more money elsewhere. You can't blame the players at all for leaving for a better opportunity.
I'm sure Thommo can put an equally good team together next season!
