Cheer up, your team has improved on last seasons position and you've still got the playoffs. Although I'l be hoping that the playoffs we'l be Blaze third piece of silverware of the season.

Tonights result is a step in the right direction for a competitive Belfast weekend, which is what i'm hoping for. Obviously i want Blaze to win the league, but it would be nice to win it in Belfast - going over there needing only 1 point. If Blaze win the league before Belfast, i guess a BIG party is on for that weekend

For us to win it in Belfast would mean us getting beat on Sunday in regulation time. It ain't over till the fat lady sings

If we only get a point, we can still win it in Belfast, as the maximum points Giants can get from now til the end of the season is 73. If we only manage to get a point from Sundays game we'd be going into the Belfast weekend with 73 and Giants would go in with 69. Meaning we'd only need 1 point from both games, (unless we win with most regulation wins?) because in that case, one point on Sunday would be enough. Bare in mind this could only happen if Giants beat Devils tommorow and Steelers on Saturday. I hope that makes sense, that was me trying to see how Blaze could still win it in Belfast. Feel free to correct my mistakes

Nope think you're right there John.
On a related note am I alone in thinking that the stuffing was well and truly knocked out of the Devils hopes with the 6-1 drubbing in the CC Final 1st leg. Up until then they were seriously motoring and now the wheels have fallen off their wagon somewhat
