No question, Craighead wins this hands down. and if the people i spoke to who saw the basingstoke game are right then payette didnt have a very good start to his enforcer career in britain.

AP has made an impressive start to his "enforcer career" just check out last weeks PowerPlay for how they were positively gushing about Da Man. Plus several hits on the Bison throughout the game on Saturday and then a few more of the same on Sunday for good measure. But Johnny C has his own reputation to live up to. Should be good

Have to agree with Gazza, i can actually see JC winning this one (going by the fight in Basingstoke) he never should have been powered to the ice that easily. Unless that fight down in Basingstoke WAS a one-off loss, he's gonna get battered by JC.
Goodluck though Andre!

The fight in basingstoke isn't going to be one of Andres most treasured moments missed with his 1st punch lost balance and ewasko landed to half punches before losing balance himself and falling on top of Andre. The key to look at was after that fight - Ewasko laid a few hits but ran off when faced by Schlender or Payette - where as Andre went round checking anyone in a bison shirt in his way. I would hope in any rematch that Andre would make certain to land a few shots on Ewasko - then we will see who the better fighter of the 2 is.

That story about Sir AP on the mailing list shows you the reputation of the man.
it was from an alledged conversation betwee Thommo and Joel and is supposed to have gone like this
Thommo: Have you heard of a guy called Andre Payette?
Joel: Goodness gracious who has signed him?
Thommo: We have
Joel: Thank goodnes for that
the story is that the language was slightly more colourful from JP but it is the stuff that legends are made of.

i think he will beat craighead seeing as craighead is near enough the same hieght where as ewasko i don't think anyone will beat him as i don't think anyone here is big enough physically to pull him over

I dont believe all this hype about andre Vs the hair bear..craighead..from what i have seen and read is quite clever when coming to penaltys...he can lose it once in a while..( last season with carps i remember )..he also plays better when the crowd starts getting on his case... I CAN see some sort of confrontation during the match...what i am looking forward to is how the Hair bear reacts to martin..i am really looking forward to that match up.. or with big doug.....power Vs power or Vs skill....i am looking forward to seeing craighead see how he handles that combination,,,or if he goes after Mikalik....anybody for a massive hipcheck ;D OOOOMMMMMMMM

If it happens, I think Payette will come off worse! I'd say there is like a 4 in 10 chance of it happening, it will also depend on what happens later today in bracknell!

we all know what JC is about (not much anymore) but your new guy is much of an unknown quantity. From what ive heard though, his bark is much worse than his bite and in his American career, he has lost more fights than he's won.

just because they have played on the same team before, doesn't mean they won't want a piece of each other when playing against each other.
