I voted craighead, he is very tough and has more experience!

Don't know if it is true or not, but I have heard that they have fought once before with Payette getting the better of Craighead.

Yeah Lee posted elsewhere on the forum that Payette has beat Craighead when they were in the ECHL.

I've been searching the various forums AHL/ECHL etc and the concencus of opinion is that Payette is the tougher player. He's almost the most stupid. AHL fans say that Craighead only fought those he knew he could/should beat but Payette didn't care who he fought.
I have heard that payette himself reckons that he's better than Craighead-both as a player and knucklehead.

Payette rarely backs down from a fight, and he rarely loses too. i'm willing to bet that he won't lose many this season either!

He won't back down from anyone- that is a fact. If he does its simple, because his side has a short bench! He is a tough guy, but IMO, Craighead will beat Payette, because Craighead was injured, so they brought in Payette, then when Craighead was fit again they traded Payette, so that shows that they thought Craighead was a better overall enforcer than Payette. I don't doubt he is hard and won't lose many next season, but IMO craighead will beat him!
This is just from what I hear!

I'm gonna wait to see what he's like first bfore going overboard with the hype. If he's any good after the first game I will be getting the Payette shirt.
Will his name fit into the Steve Gallace song from last year- I think so

I think that I am going to wait and see how handy Payette is before jumping in on the 'whos hardest' competition! I know it's fence sitting, but eggs in baskets and all that! Was very disappointed not to see it kick off with Andre and Angelstad on sunday! Plenty of time yet though!

Payette rarely backs down from a fight, and he rarely loses too. i'm willing to bet that he won't lose many this season either! He lost his first proper fight down in Basingstoke-lol. Payette v Craighead could well happen this Sunday (I'm excited)

Yep this Sunday should heighten the anticipation when both men are on the ice at the same time.
Incidentally in Sir APs defence here did anyonw see Lurch actually lay any punches on him or did he just grab and grapple him to save face? Me thinks the latter

APPARENTLY he landed a couple of hald hearted shots, don't think Payette felt them though. Lurch definetley powered him to the ice though, as if he didnt want to fight (Scared?)

I thought the punches Lurch through were even worse than WWEs Lita!!
Back to the main event though. I have to say that John Craighead won't back down as he has his own reputation to defend
Let battle commence
