A major loss for the Giants. Ruff was voted the best player in the EIHL last season and is an excellent signing for Cardiff.
What other ex-Bees/Giants players will be joining Cardiff this year?

yep, I'l tell you what Cardiff appointing Dave Whistle to be there coach, may be one of the best things they have ever done as an ice hockey club. He is not only a great coach but has alot of respect and players that have played under him, like Ruff will deffinately consider a move to cardiff because of the fact that Dave Whistle is the coach.
Jason Ruff will have came to Cardiff to be re-united with Whistle and I honestly believe that Cardiff will challenge for the league this season and I'd right now say they had a better chance than Sheffield and Nottingham- that is how much I rate Ruff and Whistle!
