Matty was poor last year and couldn't hold his own against the better EIHL forwards.
He didn't bring much offense to the team and was often caught out defensivley.

Yeah, Matty going doesn't suprise m, I feel bad for him, because he has been good for us since he arrived at the blaze. Hence, being nicknamed Mr Consistency but last season he was consistentlu o.k! He was o.k and that was about it, he didin't give us offensive options and didn't have a shot in Elite League standard. He isn't the biggest either, or the quickest so at the top flight at one of the top teams he was never going to stand out and the import slot is important, so I can understand Thommo letting him go, although he is a great guy and a good defencman for certain attributes, but not quite good enough for the blaze atthis level.

I put lots of bets on. I can't aford to bet to much incase I have a bad week. I once bet 2p with every lad in my class that Coventry City would score 9 away at Everton on the last day of the season and secure a place in Europe. That was when I was in year 7. Unfortunatly we were screwed by the ref and the game finnished 1-1. Everton stayed up though.
