Surley your having a laugh?
Cloutman was the best ref we ever had, and it's only due to politics that he's not reffing at EIHL/BNL level...

Not really wanting to open a massive can of worms here but how can any Blaze fan seriously say Hicks cost them the game on Monday?? The red light came on so the puck must have crossed well before the end of play or your lights arent rigged right..... either way its a goal. Whats Hicks supposed to do wash it out and assume the lights arent working right?? He did his fair share during the game for you lot!! Adams absolutely hysterical 2 min for delaying the game being a prime example!!! Ush BigUsh Hicks was equally bad for both teams throughout the game, you give the example of calling Adams for delay of game, what about the joke call on payette for tripping when he was stepping off the ice? The problem is fans expect him to call every little thing on the opposition and get annoyed when he doesn't, then when he calls something on his your own team it shouldn't be. The part of Hicks non-calling that favoured sheffield slightly was the constant holding that sheffield players were getting away with, and yes blaze got away with it a bit as well but to nowhere near the same extent as sheffield. The only person Hicks gave an advantage to was Christian, as by the rules a check from behind resulting in an injury is a match penalty whether there is intent or not. 523 - CHECKING FROM BEHIND a) A player who runs, jumps, charges or hits in any manner an opponent from behind shall be assessed, at the discretion of the Referee, a - Minor penalty + Automatic Misconduct penalty (2’+10’) or - Major penalty + Automatic Game Misconduct penalty (5’+GM) or - Match penalty (MP) b) A player who injures an opponent as result of checking from behind shall be assessed, a: - Match penalty (MP)Also as has been posted several times on many forums the blaze goal lights are not and have never been connected to the clock. At the time of the goal with the delay required for a goal judge to press the button, in all likely hood they wouldn't have been able to switch the light on in time anyway.

OK OK people , we need except the goal went in , theres no/very very very litte we can do about it. We need to wait for what the ref body does about christian. A Match ban , in my eyes should have been given. We've got to get behind thommo and back his views.
