Best Film: Flags of our Fathers or Fracture, many others I could name though. Transformers was awesome.
Best Song: Haven't really liked anything from this year, I'd have to say something from a movie soundtrack....Autobots, Optimus V Megatron or Cybertron on the Transformers OST by Steve Jablonsky. What Shall We Die For or Up Is Down on the Pirates of the Caribbean: AWE OST bt Hans Zimmer. Also "Drink up me hearties"...anything that contains the main POTC theme is great.
Again, loads of others I could name, been a good year for movie soundtracks.

If the new version of Blade Runner counts as new then I'm afraid there is nothing on this earth that can touch it. It was the film of '82 and it's the film of '02!!!!!!
I'm torn between The Good, Bad & the Queen and the Grinderman self titled albums as albums of the year at the moment.

One Night Only: Just For Tonight. (This lot are like the Enemy in their more melodic and less lager-fuelled moments, only even better. They. Will. Be. Huge.)

Best Moment: Standing high above Sheffield in the "park at the end of the world" with a few friends on a freezing New Years Eve, with the city spread out below and across the hills in a carpet of lights and fireworks going off below.
