I wouldn't know what my averages are because there is no need in the league i play in - but i'm sure i'm not too far out of those averages! Since monday i've hit about 5/6 maximums and a fair few 140's and 100+'s. I've not been playing too long either and in that time i've beaten a few Warwickshire county players. Went a whole season unbeaten too (21 games, 21 wins!) 2 years ago. I've since moved pubs and i'm finding it hard to throw like i used to, but i still win my fair share!
What league are you in, and what rules do you play by?

We have two boards we play on, one a yorkshire doubles board no trebles and the bog standard normal trebles board.
I play in the humberside premier league on a doubles board on my team are humberside county darts captain and vice captain this league is arguebly the best league in yorkshire we are the second best team in the league behind a team that has 6 out of 6 of its players playing for the county.
On a trebles board i play in division 4 of 6 but that is only because i play in a team full of friends who just go for a chuck and a beer, i have been repeatedly asked to step up to the premier league by the humberside captain and play for his team but i would rather stay with my friends and work our way up the leagues.
As a non county player myself i have earned enough points in local competitions to be seeded for the northern area qualifiers for both bdo and pdc world championship qualifiers which i am contemplating for 2009 as i dont think i am consistant enough yet.
I have beaten every body i have played who plays for humberside except the captain i just cant beat him for what every reason that may be!
I would look forward to giving you a game.

That's pretty cool man.
I've seen those Yorkshire boards and wondered where you get them from - that and the ones with the really small trebles. I'd really like to get one from somewhere eventually because i'm sure it'll help my game no end in the long run.
How do you go about entering for bdo and pdc competitions? I'd love to give them a go, but at the moment i just play in my local league and don't even enter any outside competitions.
I currently hate one of my younger brothers, as he doesn't play for any teams whatsoever, and doesn't even practice - but despite this, him and his partner went on a won the local mixed pairs competition!
I'll give you a game eventually, but let me get a year or 2 more experience under my belt!!

I believe its done by being put forward by the local county thats why i believe i have enough points to suggest that i could enter but i dont think you can go to the qualifiers without their say so!
If it was classed as an "open" then i think you can just pay your entrance fee and turn up!

by the way you can class yourself as a decent player as soon as you start hitting 180`s multiple times during practice! I know plenty of players who have been playing for years and only ever hit one! I hit 3 180`s last night in 10 mins of practice and 10x 140`s oh yeah and a 3 !!!!

lol.
I managed to lose 2-1 in a home game last night. I was scoring decently enough, just couldn't finish for some reason. I did manage a 180 in the practice before playing, and also managed a massive 9 during the game!!

Yesterday was the hottest day of the year and thats not nonsense. Is my work place the only work place in Britain that doesn't have a water machine in the canteen?

My work place isn't to bad, they've given me 5 days holiday to go and watch Blaze in Europe. I will hopefully be booking my flight in a matter of minutes.

My work isn't too bad, there are good drinking facilities and I get three meals a day for free.
