2 out of 10, because he released the puck to give to Scott Ricci, who in turn thought that Curtis was keeping it covered so he turned away from it all, leaving Joel to set up Ashley for the goal................i still think that Curtis made the right decision to come out, as by doing so he stopped an almost certain one on one between him and Chris McNamara........its just a shame (for them obviously) that it ended up with a bit of a mix up!

I hear the Nottingham circus wants to hire him soon.
Just goes to show that some goalies do seem better with lesser teams than when with the big boys. Both Curtis & Platt had a far greater number of plaudits last year when with teams who weren't in at the business end of things

Panthers fan in disguise He made a choice to come out, and it back-fired - bottom line! No sympathy to be quite honest!

Cruickshank did do well to take away the breakaway opportunity but it was after that he messed up.
He should never have been looking for a d man to bail him out, he should have either covered the puck and taken the 2 min delay of game penalty, or just shoved the puck out over the blue line. Mcnamara was well into the zone and any quick shot would have resulted in an offside call, or would have given him and his team mates a chance to recover if the blaze players had waited for Mcnamara to get out the zone before shooting.

While debating the merits of what Cruikshank should or shouldn't have done, I have to ask did anybody else find it side-splittingly funny? ;D

I found it hilarious, i've not actually seen a goalie commit himself like that and actually mess up, like Cruikshank did! 9 times out of 10, the goalie will get to the puck first - not on that funny occasion though!

If only there were a dvd/video of goalie foul ups like you get in football. This would take pride of place. And to think The Black & Gold army used to slate Sundberg ;D

Yeah it was funny. But I wouldn't say it was wrong for Curtis to have come out for the puck... I'd just shout "dodgy keeper" at him anyway!
