Like I said I'm sure if Bin Laden was "fit" in some eyes what he has done would be overlooked. I can't believe that you're comparing some footballer and a terrorist. Ok, get the point that several of you hate the guy but comparing him with someone who has sanctioned the killing of many people is just absurd and a bit over the top. You guys just sound like you're all taking this a little bit too seriously. Reid_Wales obviously likes the guy and isn't going to change her mind, you guys hate him, I doubt either side is going to change their opinions of the others so why go on about it anymore?

I find it incredible that anybody could overlook such bad personality traits purely based on a perceived cosmetic opinion. Two words to prove that it is perfectly possible for otherwise rational females to do this.... Puck. Bunny. The existence of which proves the above question. And yes, I too find it incredible. Although it can be said to be a problem not unique to girls. I somehow doubt the last thing Scolari said before Portugal left the tunnel was "oh, and if you can influence the referee in any way or cheat in order to gain an advantage, then do it". Or does this mean that RW and his other defenders would be perfectly happy for Blaze to win a championship thanks to a blatant bit of cheating? It would spoil it for me...

Well put Paul. The Puck Bunnies seem to have their own rules so us guys have our codes too. The fact is that Ronaldo is so hated that his house keeps getting bricked yet some kid wants to moralise because of some silly crush

Football is mean't to be entertaining, watching players get away with cheating is not entertaining, if it was so important to Portugal that they had to take Rooney out the game, they should have arranged for somebody to give him a kicking the night before (I'v been watching to much Dream Team). Yes that would be a currupt thing to have done and myself being an England fan would still hate the Portugeese for it. However cheating a country is bad enough but they cheat the beautiful game as well. And Canary, nobody is comparing Skippy to "The Bin", Steve was just making a point of how ridiculas it is that you can overlook a cheat and their weaknesses on the football pitch just because you find them attractive. I am sure there are some very strange teenage girls about who see Bin Laden in the same light and would defend everything he has done purely because they'd like him to give them a good seeing to. Maybe its the beard that turns girls on Edited

Probably not the last thing Scolari said
But possibly the first

I am sure there are some very strange teenage girls about who see Bin Laden in the same light and would defend everything he has done purely because they'd like him to give them a good seeing to. Maybe its the beard that turns girls on As far as I can see you guys are saying that if a girl fancies a guy then she'll ignore everything he's done, regardless of what it might be simply because she thinks he's attractive. The fact that you used and have continued to use Bin Laden as an example of this is what I find over the top and quite ridiculous. That was all I was trying to say in my previous post along with the fact that people are allowed their own opinions even if it does disagree with your own. I respect that it's your opinion to dislike this guy and I'd appreciate it if I was allowed to have my opinion about how I think you're starting to go a bit over the top.

The original comment from Reid_Wales was quite frankly a football equivalent of bunnying and thus belonged to that old rabbit hole thread for it. She started off by saying that she didn't see the problem which male football fans have with his antics in the nad tempered world cup quarter final. She then inflames the situation further by qualifying her opinions with a bit of bunnying designed to enrage some people for whom the world cup was a huge event and meant a lot.

Sorry Canary, I know it wasn't you that brought up the guys looks.
If people don't like me using politics as an example when trying to explain how silly I find what Reid-Wales said I will use another sport as an example. Ladies Tennis. I think Maria Sharapova is fit, I also think she is a good ladies tennis player along with the Williams sisters (I don't find them fit, so I'll leave them two for Steve). However them two points are not linked. If you ask me why I think Sharapova is a good tennis player, I'll say its because that the only time I have ever watched a ladies tennis match all the way through she defeated Serena Williams in straight sets to win Wimbledon, not because I think she is fit as that is a seperate issue. If she lost her form and kept getting knocked out of every tournament in the first round then maybe I wouldn't rate her so highly as a tennis player, however I would still think she is fit. If she kept cheating to win matches (I don't know how you cheat in Ladies tennis but use your imagination) I would think she was a cheat and wouldn't respect her as a player. However I would still think she is fit. What I am trying to say is that its ridiculas to judge somebodys sporting ability based on how pyhsically attractive you find them, and its also ridiculas to defend somebody for cheating just because you find them physically attractive. I'm sure not all women have this attitiude but many do, Reid-Wales seeming to be one of them as she seems to like Skippy Roo as a player and seems to think he should be allowed to get away with cheating just because she finds him 'fit'. How the hell does your looks make you a good footballer, the only thing I can think of is if a player is so ugly that the opposition spend the whole game puking up allowing him space to score. But even that sounds well far fetched.

I only like Serena (The slimmer feminine one of the Williams sisters) due to her sporting prowess and not because she has a great derriere ;D
On a side note I hear the phrase "Ronaldos Windows" is being used as a way of saying getting smashed ;D

While browsing www.ihateronaldo.com I came across this site www.iloveronaldo.com and I could not believe the level of intelligence on there I have now seen the light. Just look at the pictures of Skippy Roo on there riding his bike without his shirt on. That really does show what a World Class player the guy is. Read some of the comments such as "Ronaldo iz wel fit", obviously writen by top football experts, and as it says on the home page, apparently any of the England players would have ran over to the referee to moan, he just got there first. They must have missed Rooney getting kicked in the face by Ricardo in the first half when Rooney just carried on going. I suppose though with the level of football knowledge the people on this website have got they probably don't even need to watch a game to give an expert opinion on it. I thought that after 11 years of following football I knew my stuff, but all that knowledge has now gone flying out of the window as after reading this I can now see I know nothing. Perhaps us red blooded males should stay away from football from now on and make way for more intelligent female fans. Maybe the FA can get rid of goalpost and even do away with the ball and let Premiership titles, World Cups etc be decided on who is wearing the nicest boots and who has the girliest hair.
