Since it's Christmas...another quick quiz to see how much of a Blaze fan you are...
1. Which Blaze player has a 'twin city' of Coventry as his home town, and what is it?
2: Which two Blaze players have already won a championship together, and what was the team and the title?
3. What was the nickname of the Roberts-Johnson-Dumas line that ripped BNL defences apart in the 2001/02 season?
4. Name the two players who have worn 11 for the Blaze at the Skydome.
5. Who won the 'fastest shot' competition in the BNL title season (and it wasn't that obvious)
6. Where did Craig Chapman play after leaving the Blaze?
7. Name the three players who have worn number 18 for the Blaze in Coventry (and it's definitely three)
8. How many (current) NHL players have played at the Skydome?
9. The Skydome has been the 'home' venue for one other British ice-hockey team in league play. Name them.
10. Which Blaze player do you get if you add Steve Chartrand to Joel Poirier? (think laterally)

1. Pavol? Coventryski 2. Assuming you don't mean those left from 2003 I would say Jody & Dan 3. The 8 9 10 line 4. Graham Schlender & Jordan Shields 5. Ron Shudra? 6. Colorado Gold tops 7. AJ Kelham, Steve Gallace 8. 3 (Cairns, Nichol and erm...Wade) 9. Belfast Giants in 2000 10. Mike Shewan
Seriously have mental block for the other one who wore 18

4) same as b2p steve
5) was it Gizmo?

7) Gallace, Kelham and yep i'm stumped too.
8) is actually 4, surely......Belak, Cairns, Nichol, AND Davison??
9) yeah, again same as b2p steve.
10) again, same as........12 Frenchie + 32 Poirier = 44 Shewan.

1. Nope-but it is a player from this season... 7. Almost there, but not quite... As for the NHL players-I too am a muppet-I managed to forget Davison (well, easy to do) 9 out of ten-the first question seems to be the one stumping people...

Have a feeling there is a thread about the duplication of numbers somewhere else as the missing 18 has me stumped incredibly

Since all the questions have now been answered right in one place or another, here's the list of answers...
1. Andre Payette (Cornwall, Ontario, Canada is a twin city)
2. Jody Lehman and Adam Calder (South Carolina Stingrays, Kelly Cup, 2001)
3. The 8-9-10 line, from their numbers...
4. Jordan Shields and Graham Schlender
5. Gareth Owen (95.8 mph)
6. Colorado Gold Kings (West Coast Hockey League)
7. AJ Kelham, Steve Gallace, and, for two games against Cardiff, one home, one away, Andre Payette.
8. 5-Scott Nichol, Eric Cairns, Wade Belak, Rob Davison, and Steve McKenna.
9. Belfast Giants, while they were waiting for the Odyssey to be completed in their first season (2000/01)
10. Numbers-12 (Chartrand) plus 32 (Joel Poirier) equals Mike Shewan (44)
