As for the flights, there is a £10 charge for transfering onto another flight. Bottom line: it's gonna cost me £20 to change both flights AND if the new journey is dearer i have to pay the extra - SO MUCH FOR THE CHEAP FLIGHT The coach is apparently less complicated, you may have to pay a £1.50 charge - psch still money i shouldnt be paying!! I guess there's nothing anyone can do about all the hassle this is causing?

So you only have to pay a £10 charge to transfer to another flight. You might find that is to be £10 x 2 as a flight by definition is only one way. Also does that mean if the transferred to flight is dearer you have to make up the difference? That really sucks. I had to pay £25 x 2 to transfer the date and the time of departure is now at 8.30 At least Accomodate were cool about the rooms and the guy just said "As soon as you know when it is just call and they will reserve the rooms again" Unfortunately this is gonna have to go down to experience. Think I will book as soon as the fixtures are announced next year to get the cheapest tickets available so I don't lose as much.

Yup it'll be £20 to transfer, plus the extra for a dearer flight Glad the hotel is ok, keep them posted Hopefully everything will go to plan and it won't cost too much to sort out. What are the chances of getting some compensation from the Odyssey?

Compensation from the Oddyssey- no chance
But check this out
Hi All I have just had a call from Mike Cowley and he has asked me to advise you not to cancel any flights and hotels booked for this fixture yet. Further discussions are taking place between the Belfast Giants and the Blaze management teams and it is hoped a announcement can be made later tomorrow regarding this fixture. Regards Elaine
Can't see them doing a U-turn as the Arena is required all week but will be miffed if they do as will have to get another flight (Might have to go via Gatwick ;D)

Prays that Mike can sort this out and the U-turn will happen He wouldn't say don't cancel the flights/hotles if he wasn't a little confident that something can be done! Go Mike Cowley!!

well they should offer us something, at least free entrance to blaze fans or summat Yeh that's what i was thinking, what are the chances of them doing that though? You'd get Belfast fans going in as Blaze fans

Don't raise expectations about the U-turn (Or freebies) until it happens. Remember that the events are out of Mikes hands. He can only do his best.
The old addage about money talking springs to mind.
Fingers crossed for a good outcome

Bugger, bugger, bugger. There goes my trip to Belfast unless it stays on the same day-go Blaze directors! If not, then there's always an extra day on the lash and holiday either way
