The £10 deposit, basically is your game money and this needs to be with me, at the lastest, the playoffs How many deposits have you got? After tomorrow we'll really have to start getting people together. We need a decent sized party going as well, are any more people interested? |

Currently have my deposit ;D but have now found out booking can be left to a few days beforehand, but would have to pay extra for the balls as they'd have to be brought on the day and cost extra. Its all up to what people want to do and how quickly i get all deposits.

Oh yeah I was talking to somebody about this yesterday, Chief I think. Whoever's organising it needs to organise transport... I suggested maybe hiring a minibus? Why can't any of you people drive?  |

Well the note about deposits was on Kates original posting saying that ideally deposits would be required by the end of the play offs.
There are one or two names marked as definate on the Events thread with several interested.
Once there is a reasonable number transportation plans can be discussed.

I did actually think of a minibus but at around £150 + for the day i thought this was a bit much. So though, we could all either... 1. make own way there 2. meet at a meeting point and get taxis. 3. meet at a meeting point and then devide ourselves up between the people that can drive (if they dont mind that is) and if need be, rope a few parents in. was thinking about a 9am set off time, as they ask you to get there about 9:45 and it takes about 35mins to get there from the centre of Cov. A far as the money goes : deposits are £10 and the sooner the better because i need them to book the places. If we cant get the 30th May, people will get their deposits back. On the day pay £6 per 100 balls, on average they say 400-600 balls are used on a full day so its up to you how many you want. Im at some phoenix games, definately the one this weekend and probably both next weekend. However if you don't go to any of these, PM me and.. i dont actually know but i tend to be here, there and everywhere so im sure i can pick it up from you or something Think thats about it, anymore questions just let me know! |

I think option 2 looks best for getting there. Nobody that's going can drive can they? It won't be too bad if say 10 people go, then it'll just be a fifth of the taxi fare for everyone.
I'll get my deposit in.

Yeh i thought taxis would be best because like you said, the cost is shared. If thats alright with everyone else, ill book them a few days before, when we know exact numbers.
