aw come on whiskey, tis all light hearted ;D... i hope You should read the views on Steeltalk, (Not including those from a bunch of people who were on the old forum before it got closed down having a right go at anyone who mis-spelt their team name) therefore the barbs are fun but what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander The point about their dwindling fan base is just that- it is wittering away all the time (Despite the hype on last weeks match). If they seriously thought a load of chavs were turning up some may not return. Still that might make them do a Manchester and play out of a smaller more viable rink in the future ;D ;D ;D What's Ice Sheffield like anyone?

Just out of interest, how many of you have seen the song on THF? I'll have a word with the bloke who wrote it if he comes on msn, see if i can post it here! Ah, but people have done-myself included. It's good banter, but annoying when teams other than Sheffield kick off and it becomes nationwide. I have had a stroke of genius though-next time we go to the HoS, why not find as many Buberry/tartan caps as possible, and have every possible away fan wearing something chav...even those who are patently not. Might be a laugh...together with a 'Go Chaventry' tartan banner.. ;D

Its funny because if we were to start going on about how Cardiff Devils fans all do indecent things with sheep, (and I am not for one minute suggesting that they do) it would cause outrage and Blaze fans would get a reputation for being racist because Cardiff is part of Wales a seperate country to England. Doesn't stop some of us ;D

Doesn't stop some of us ;D It doesn't stop me neither ;D, but what I say to my fellow Blaze fans might not be excacly what I would say to a Devils fan or someone from Cardiff. Thats not because I am two faced its more just me having a bit of banter with my own mates but not wanting to course offence to anyone else.

There are very few if any Blaze fans who are chavs. Howevere there is an incredibly high amount of chavs from Coventry present at the ice hockey match.
I moan about it all the time but people tend to just shrug...
They do my head right in!

Maybe we should start a campaign; Blaze Fans Against Chavs Stereotyping on a general basis can be harmful though look at the reputation scousers and mancs and people from Brighton have. I certainly wouldn't be happy living there and being tarred with that particular brush if it was not true of myself

Maybe we should start a chant about it?

Check out www.chavtowns.co.uk There's some interesting stories about Coventry on there. Search for "Coventry".

I put Sheffield in it, and amongst the plethora (Means a lot if any of their lot are reading) of mentions it had the classic "Doncaster-ultimate chavtown!" Pure quality
So the ultimate chavtown is in Yorkshire ;D
