Yeah i had a great time, although my pool skills weren't really up to scratch... If i recall, Carpo was the Pool Champion, with Martin runner up and Chief in bronze medal position (is that right?) We also found out that Davey has a soft spot for pink glittery lipgloss |

A very creditable last was my position...although I still say that Whiskey fixed the groups to begin with...I had the misfortune to catch Carpo in top form (I still think he only gave me a go at the table because he didn't want to make me look silly  and Martin too was a class above. As for Davey-lucky ricochet... . He'd likely have won anyway though... |

With 7 entrants the two gropus were split into one of 3 players and one of 4. Using the numbers method group A consisted of PW (Sporting a Fran Cosgrove hairstyle), Davey, Carpo & Martin. Chief, Blazing Kate & Supermouse formed group B In group A there was a 3 way tie with all getting 2 wins each except PW who bagged a duck. PWs game with Davey in the final round of group games was a tense battle with mind games being played.....and lip gloss being used To produce 2 semi finalists a decider of 3 ball was played with Martin topping the group and Carpo also making it through. The games in group B were also squared with 1 apiece after Chief potted the black ball too early in the match with Supermouse. A straight re-run of the group saw Chief top the group with Supermouse making it through to the last 4 where she faced her beau Martin. Martin cruised into the final. Carpo took the other semi over a lethargic Chief who had the loss of his ear stud playing on his mind with two balls left on the table. Davey then took Supermouses place in the Bronze game but was defeated narrowly by a resurgent Chief. Carpo clinched the championship with a steady win over Martin. |

I didn't feel I really ever got going in the pool tournament. Not at my best at all.
Congratulations to carpo, he was consistently good. I deffinately want to have another one before the holiday! Better organised, with groups already in place, so no females will make it to the semi's!
