After taking a 3-0 in the best of seven series, New York Yankees lost the lost 4 games handing the series to Boston Red Sox.
This ends the "Curse of the Red Sox," who have not been able to reach the World Series in nearly 90 Years.
Fans were stunned as Boston beat Yankees 10-3 in the final game. Yankees were expected to get through easily, especially after their flying start.
Boston will now take on the winners of the other league playoffs in the World Series!

As a Red Sox fan who suffered last year in the game 7, one word sums up my reaction around 5:30 this morning.... YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! It's put a smile on my face for the rest of the day, as it has no doubt the whole of Massachusetts. Oh, and two more words. YANKEES SUCK!  |

Dunno a thing about rounders...whoops baseball but I do always like New York sports teams. Therefore, Giants for the Superbowl (I know they're based in Noo Jerzy) Rangers for the Stanley Cup...  Well if not for this darned Lock-out  And next year for the Yankees |

Just watching the repeat of Game 7 on NASN, great game for Boston.
I hope they go all the way and win the World Series.
