The old guard at highbury will offically come to an end as Martin Keown will 'hopefully' make his final appearance and win an other Premiership medal. It was announced earlier that he will not be offered a new deal, but will look for another club and carry on playing for at least 2 more seasons with West Ham and Premiership out-fit Portsmouth interested.
Good Luck to him i say, a true professional.
It's also his testimonial on Monday against an England X1 side. Can't wait.
Also Steve McClaren will be Sven's number 2 at Euro 2004.

I heard David Beckham will be playing in the Keown testimonial.
I would love to see Martin Keown replace Mo Konjic at Highfield Road but I can't honestly see him dropping down a division when he has Portsmouth 1 Premiership team and West Ham who could soon be a Premiership team who are interested in him. I won't give up hope though.
So the days of Arsenal being the boring team that wins 1-0 every week are well and truly over. Bould, Winterburn, Dixon, Adams, Seaman have gone and Keown after tommorows game. The end of Dad's Army. Im sure that having a World Class team with players such as Henry and Viera though is much more than just a consolation for Arsenal fans.

I think it's fair to say that Arsenal stopped being a "boring" side over 6 years ago when Arsene Wenger took over. Maybe even before that as it was Bruce Rioch who bought Dennis Bergkamp which changed their game.
I find the most boring side to watch these days are Liverpool. Whilst always robotic in the 70s and 80s their succesful sides did have an element of flair about them. Howver nowadays they play too much panic football weighed down by the accoladed of their glorious history which co-incidentally is whats stopping them succeeding
As for entertainment there are a whole bunch of world class entertainers in the top flight including, Sorenson, Samuel, Mellberg, Whittingham, Hendrie, Ridgewell, JP- Angel, Solano, Hitzlsperger, Vassell,Barry, McCann De La Cruz,Moore , Delaney & Crouch.....ok maybe not the last one

Roy Keane is a legendary player but not as legendary as Robbie as Robbie plays his heart out for club and country.

Big applause to Arsenal for their achievement. I remember thinking that back in 1990-91 season when they only lost one league game was amazing (It was away at Chelsea oddly enough), but this takes the top prize ever.
Poor performance from the man in black at Villa Park today. I though both the disallowed goals should have been given, especially the second one which seemed to be given for a foul on Howard where the only player who touched him was from his own team. We also should have had a penalty in the 1st half when JPA was tripped in the area.
Nice to see two United players get silly sendings off though

Yeah it seemed on the highlights as if Liverpool just went for a summers stroll today.
No wonder Houllier can't motivate them.
It's a disgrace that 6th place in the league doesn't get you into Europe but losing the cup final (As no cup final winner has qualified using only that route for years- 1997 last time) can no matter what division you're in

Oh well atleast tomorrow Manchester United will win the FA cup. Tommorow is Wednesday, the Cup Final is on Saturday. A bit of a backwards step for a team that didn't even play in the FA Cup back in 2000. Couldn't even put the kids out. Oh well I have only failed to watch the FA Cup final on television once since 1995. The one I missed was in the year 2000 when Chelsea won it. The last ever FA Cup final at Wembley. This was due to me being on a Duke Of Edinburgh Camp.

Think this years cup final could turn into a drab non event.
I see leicester city have today released 13 players following their relegation from the Premiership. This could be worrying for them as it hints of financial trouble so soon after the last bout when the spid peddeler bailed them out
