RAIDERS SIGN ANOTHER TOP BRIT
The Wightlink Raiders are delighted to confirm the return of Richard Hargreaves to a Raiders shirt.
28 year old Richie, brother of Mike, has signed in time to make his season debut at home to Peterborough this Saturday.
Richie started this season at Swindon Wildcats before a brief spell at Elite League Basingstoke. He last played for the Raiders in 2003 and made over 100 appearances in a five year spell here.
A Raiders spokesman confirmed his arrival this morning, "Richie was keen to come and play here so we've moved quickly to snap him up. We've agreed a deal with him that he'll play to the end of the season but have agreed to release him if an Elite League team come in for him."
Coach Scott Carter is pleased with his new signing.
"The fans know him well and he's a quality Brit who'll add significant depth to our squad. The guys are determined to move up the EPL table and having Richie on board is obviously gonna help us achieve that ambition."
