"Brad Voth is out of the Echo Cardiff Devils team for Sunday's Elite League ice hockey match at Sheffield Steelers.
Cardiff's enforcer was thrown out during the Echo Devils' 3-2 win at Newcastle Vipers and his absence is a major blow for the team.
Head coach Ed Patterson is still fighting the one-match ban which came after he left the bench to pass on a message.
It had looked as though defenceman Lucas Komarec had been kicked and Voth was asked to talk to the referee.
But he was confronted by Newcastle's Paul Ferrone and Voth was thrown out for fighting after leaving the bench."
