Have seen most of what's on offer thus far, whom do we think is the best fighter this season?

For me now it is- 1. B. Clouthier- yet to lose a fight, beaten Voth, Gomez and drew with Cornish.
2. R.Shmyr- has beaten Skiehar and looks very keen and tough.
3. R.Gomez- has beaten Corny twice now and is really showing some quality although has lost to Clouthier and drew with Payette.
4. J.Cornish- Very tough, but although beaten Rizk and Ndur and doing well against Clouthier, he took two beatings of Gomez which hurt his form.
5. P.Ferone- What a fighter, best in the league pound for pound. First game of the season was on Sunday, but he is extremely tough.
6. R.Ndur- Done well against Payette twice, but getting edged out by Corny has knocked him down to 5th, more to come from him.
7. B.Voth- lost to Clouthier, but did well against Ski in Belfast by all accounts.
8. S.Skiehar- Not had a great season so far, but is very tough no doubt about it and had a good season last year.
9. A.Payette- Not the greatest fighter in the league, but drew with Gomez in a bit of a non-event and beaten Rizk.
10. R.Darby- Very tough and so far not been too active except handing Sylvain his butt.
Thats my top 10 for this season- other honourable mentions, Darling, Rizk, Morin, Stewart, Nielson, Campbell, Cruickshank, DeSantis and a few others.
Very tough league this season and whats above is ofcourse all IMO.

Great Synopsis Davey and I can't argue much other than the low position of Regan Darby whom I would have above Payette at least

I was just in a rush when writing it yesterday and couldn't be bothered to re-assess my draft. I would have Regan Darby higher and Voth is quite high, because he has impressed me lately. Maybe should have also tried harder to find a spot for Dion Darling.

Having only seen rumun fight can't argue with the rankings at all.
The thing with Ferone is as well he can play a bit whereas some can't.
Ferone v clouthier that would be good

Ferone v clouthier that would be good In Rumun's prime he'd be possibly at the top of that heap, with some solid NHL experience. As for Paul Ferone, totally agree. He is a bit past his peak as well, but has always recorded good numbers. He used to be awesome in the FBNL. He is very, very tough though and has extremely fast hands, if he is given the chance to get them going, few would stay up. Ferone -v- Clouthier would be a very good fight. I'd have to deffinately fancey BBB (Big Bad Brett as some steelers call him), because of the overall size advantage and his form over here so far has been top notch. Ferone is past his peak and hasn't danced since the end of last season when he handed Voth his butt twice, one after another!

Well put Davey about the fight, you would think bbb would have the edge because of his size but look how many times somebody like Domi has won fights when he has fought somebody bigger and i reckon ferone has as good technique and toughness as him. Fights like a boxer which i think he has dabbled with but not sure. A guy i would like to see go ya ya would be jason Ruff i bet he would be a right handful.

Now to add a little twist.
How would BBB and the current crop fare against some of the greats who have graced our shores in recent times, Schulte, Nieckar, Ware, McWilliam etc

Now to add a little twist. How would BBB and the current crop fare against some of the greats who have graced our shores in recent times, Schulte, Nieckar, Ware, McWilliam etc Four very tough guys you've noted there Steve. I never saw MacWilliam and don't think I ever saw Nieckar, but those two have huge reputations and were great for Cardiff and Nottingham respectfully. When your talking about guys with the pedigree listed fighting another very tough guy like BBB, it could really go either way. Same with guys like Anglestad, fights could go either way.
