We stayed with a friend in central Manhattan so went to bars round there- got to go to Hard Rock in Times Sq its amazing

Yes mate, The Hard Rock is almost a guaranteed visit!!
Were staying just off Times Square at the New Yorker Ramada Plaza Hotel, looks dead nice! Did you get to see the John Lennon Memorial in Central Park, Strawberry Fields?
Exciting stuff!!
