Anyone care to explain how a player on a power play dumping the puck into the opposing end or taking a shot that goes high is delaying the game? Why would a player on the PP want to delay the game? Why isnt the rule the same as the NHL where it is a defending player clearing the puck over the plexi gets called as it is a way to rest players and used to be able to change lines.
Just wondering if anyone can explain this to me.
