They will always be known as Newcastle as far as fans are concerned. They'll probably change the name back again soon anyway. Hopefully John Dalziel continues to say 'Newcastle' when announcing games at the Sky Dome. Well if it is anywhere in the North East we should all call them Sunderland Vipers ;D That will get their name changed back PDQ Haha loving the plan. |

The new Vipers shirts are awful, as Steve said a BIG V covering the front of the shirt, very nice  Obviously never seen one of the most-classic NHL shirts ever then-the Vancouver Canuck "V" shirt of the Seventies. Not loved at its inception but is now a retro classic... It's already been done, Mobilx  |
