Stretching beyond just Newcastle? Why do they only fill a third of their shed then. 1 fluked play off and they think they're good

They go on about how ambitious they are yet they turned down playing in the Continental Cup. Surely Newcastle is a big enough town to have its own ice hockey team, they shouldn't have to share with the North East.

Funny really, the professional men's team that play in front of 2000 people can't afford to go... but the amatur Women's team that play in front of 50 people who watch for free can.

But could you see all of the Vipers players paying for it out of their own back pockets like the Ladys? And then sitting on a coach to where ever it is, like the Ladys? Some how i think not

I stand by my original point. If the Blaze proved anything last season it was that you can get sponsorship for a European Trip...
Plus, as it's in Sweden, I doubt very much they are going on a Coach all the way lol

As well as being unable to spell N.E.W.C.A.S.T.L.E. in the club name their shirts are now showing just a large V. Can't they get a designer to draw a snake or something?

The new Vipers shirts are awful, as Steve said a BIG V covering the front of the shirt, very nice

They will always be known as Newcastle as far as fans are concerned. They'll probably change the name back again soon anyway. Hopefully John Dalziel continues to say 'Newcastle' when announcing games at the Sky Dome.

Well if it is anywhere in the North East we should all call them Sunderland Vipers ;D That will get their name changed back PDQ
