Sponsorship Opportunities for the Cardiff Devils 2006-07 season

The Cardiff Devils are entering into possibly their most exciting season in their 20 year history.

With the WNIR being demolished later this year to make room for the St David 2 development, the Devils are moving into a new purpose built home at Cardiff Bay. The move to the bay is expected to attract not only existing fans but also new fans who will have less distance to travel from the likes of Penarth and Barry which opens up a whole new fantastic opportunities for company sponsorship.

This season the Devils will be looking to expand on their fantastic Adopt a School programme which brings local businesses and schools together in a joint venture where businesses can receive advertising and tickets to the value of in excess of £800 for the small price of £250 and offer a local school the chance to give children the experience of a life time, one they may never be able to afford themselves.

The Devils are also looking for support from the many local companies based in and around the Cardiff Bay area and Penarth.

Sponsorship opportunities range from on-ice / dasher board and player equipment signage, match night game sponsorship packages and match night programme and magazine advertising.

The Devils are looking to link up with as many companies as possible this season which means there are sponsorship packages to suite all budgets. And with the link between the Devils and the SW Echo, not to mention the Devils website which receives thousands of hits, publicity impact is huge.

Devils management are in the process of negotiating with two companies for prime sponsorship but are interested in talking to anyone looking to link up with the Devils, South Wales’ professional Elite League ice hockey team.
