The season in the plan which was to mark the push for the title. 
Started off as they finished last year in a thuggish fashion including the most stupid attack from behind whilst a player was in the "penalty box".
Almost fluked their way into the Cup semi finals which would have made things tricky for the league the way things ended up.
Amidst rumours of a cash crisis and liability issues concerning the hovel...sorry Bike Shed the Racers management took the decision to cease operations.
Given the way things turned out the Racers should only be allowed to return once they can secure proper facilities as far as I'm concerned.
In my opinion it seems that instead of getting the London Knights with a new name we instead got the Harringey Racers just to put a taem in the capital city.
