Since Mighty Ducks keeps getting mentioned, what other films are there for hockey.
Slap Shot (Great) Slap Shot 2 (not as bad as I expected) Mystery Alaska (Great in a different way to Slap Shot) Young Blood (Not bad but a bit too bunnyish for me) The Chiefs (Documentary of somewhere which makes our league look timid) Happy Gilmore (Not hockey but it is kind of) Im not counting all of Grapes' DVDs.

Miracle with Kurt Russell in is definitely worth seeing. It tells the true story of Herb Brooks (Russell), the player-turned-coach who led the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team to victory over the seemingly invincible Russian squad.

Youngblood is classic. "Ya wanna go, pretty boy?"
The new one "goonfights" (only available in French-follows a QSPHL team through a season) is awesome for the sheer amount of whuppings that get handed out. Belak G, Anglestad, Darby...they wouldn´t survive long...

The Quebecois certainly like their hockey violent.
I believe Payette played in that very same league but wasnt having many PIMs so the refs must be lenient.
