Source of much debate. But have the guys (And gal) at Soccer A.M. created a monster? What is your reaction to this chant at hockey?

Yet again I cant vote but I dont like it.
I also didnt like any of the 'We're all going on a European tour' songs.
Did soccer AM really create this, I am sure I remember Big Daddy having an Easy chant.

I would like to see it used in the house of commons though ;D. Not sure why you're unable to vote And apologies for the European Tour stuff. Seemed like a good idea at the time

No need to apologise, each to their own but I am quite reserved as a spectator.
I think Soccer AM also did 'whammo' which I think fits hockey better than football.
The unability to vote could be due to my choice of computer, I dont use windows unless I am forced to at work.

I love it. I prefer it when the team I am supporting is winning comfortably but I must admit it did help create a good atmosphere in the home leg against Panthers when the game kept turning, it would be us chanting it, then them chanting it, then back to us and so on. Quality stuff.

I do like it, but its got to be used at the right time. The game against Sheffield earlier this season (the one we lost 4-3 on 23rd October) some fans were doing it when we were still drawing 2-2.
This should only be done by various fans who are winning. In my opinion of course.

The easy chant is brilliant. It is generally just a laugh and is all good fun!

i love it when we score and but hate it when we are recieving the 'easying'. CW its simple really, just easy easy. i don't see why its become so popular though. everyone like the easy cards in block 5 , haven'y got them out in a while though

Soccer A.M. repopularized the Easy chants as a regular skit on the programme. Basically it relates to two 1970s wrestlers one of which beats the other and does the chant with accompanying hand gestures.
It took off in most sports like wildfire. Although I have to say that I never noticed it at hockey until myself JP And King Rich initially did it at last seasons play offs despite trying to get it over on one or two coach journeys leading upto it

Since we got onto wrestling, Id love to see a Hulk Hogan ear cupping move after a goal or fight.
First player to do this gets a pint and two if he can rip his shirt.

I like the chant, when used at appropriate times.

I like the chant, when used at appropriate times. Which seems to be, every goal, fight, penalty, face off, break in play etc ;D
