8 teams make the playoff this season, it was going to be top 7 automatically qualify and 8th and 9th play in a one off match with 8th having home advantage. But I presume it will just be all 8 teams making it now unless they change the rules and say that just 6 teams make it, but surely they wouldn't do that.
