And there's not even a clash with a Blaze game!
Saturday night sees the return of Women's League Hockey to the Skydome as the Phoenix take on our rivals from just up the M1, the Nottingham Vipers.
It's the first game of the league in the North so a win would put the Phoenix riding high at the top of the table and it should be a fantastic game.
Admission is free, and the faceoff is at 6pm.

Lol.
Well going back onto topic, Phoenix will know their opponants for the 2nd Round of the cup on Sunday 9th October, as that is the 1st Round tie between Furies and Bison up at Deeside...
I'll be going to spy but as both teams have lost players in the off-season, there's a chance that Phoenix could cause an upset.
So definatly, if people aren't going to Grenoble, get down the rink on Sunday 16th October for a cracking game of hockey.

So did Phoenix on Saturday!
But serioulsy, even though they'd got players like Toose/Driver who appear to have had a good start to the season, the Aldridge/Harrison partnership has been broken up and that IMO makes them in a weaker position than last season, as that partnership posted 146 points in just 20 games.
Time will tell!
