With the Sheffield double-header coming up, what are peoples predictions for the two games? Here's what i think:
Away: Steelers 2 Blaze 3 Home: Blaze 2 Steelers 1
..That's right, i'm going for a four point weekend. Some might say that's just too much to ask, i say the Blaze have what i takes this season! Don't let me down lads!
Everyone else...?

I think either side would take 3 points out of this weekend, but I think 4 will be moving up to sheffield after the victory on sunday. Cant wait to go down to Skydome

I'm going for Saturday Steelers 3 Blaze 4 (In Overtime)
Sunday Blaze 5 Steelers 2
Seriously we need to win both of these if we are to win the league and there's never been a better time to have these fixtures
On a positive note for our northern friends I believe they will get the sufficient results in their other cup group games to join us in the semis

Honestly...Blaze 3 Steelers 5 in the House of Tin, and Blaze 5 Steelers 2 in the Skydome. Heart says a four-point weekend, head says Steelers will take one. Although, shut down Anderson, Christian and Peron, and I reckon the powerhouse that was the Steelers attack will be almost non-existent. Blaze can score from all over this season-Steelers can't, at least not on a regular basis...

Sheffield Steelers 4-3 Coventry Blaze (After Overtime) Coventry Blaze 4-2 Sheffield Steelers
So a 3 point weekend for Blaze and a 2 point weekend for Steelers. I'd settle for that although the full 4 point weekend would be nice.

i'm not predicting actual scores but i think we'll beat them convincingly tomorrow in Sheffield, and they'll be coming down here looking for revenge and we'll only just scrape it at home (possibly even going to overtime).

IMO these games will be very interesting. Thommo has built the team and made changes to beat the likes of sheffield, so it really is a test for this team. I think that providing we don't have 2nd period blues, and Jody plays like we know he can then we will win both games. Scores 3-2 on sat and 4-1 on sun.

To all those who are coming up Have a safe journey up, and of course home, and enjoy your visit to sheffield (but dont be having any thoughts of taking two points home ) If your there early enough come into the enfield for a pint with the rest of the fans ;D

We came second after overtime. Incredibly we have now lost in overtime in two successive weeks. The time prior to that was in March 2001 at Peterborough. Looks like we're jinxed now Still I'll take a 3 point week end
