Apologies if this has already been posted but we really need your help in Cardiff to secure a future home!
We're organising a protest march on 8th Jan starting outside City Hall at 4pm and parading through the city centre.
There'll be a marching band, the mascot of the Ladies' Comets team (a dog dressed in a Comets jersey!) and representatives not only from Devils fans but also public skating, sledge hockey, figure skating, etc. Our players will also be there.
We're hoping to get at least 1000 protesters and if any Blaze fans are planning to come down for the day, PLEASE try and get there a bit earlier and lend us your support.
We really would be grateful and delighted to see as many of you as possible.

We'll have to ask the supporter's coach people if we can get there for 4pm.

That would be fantastic if the coach could leave early although I appreciate it's short notice to arrange.
Incidentally for those who may be driving down in time for the march, the club are getting additional NCP car park tickets. These tickets cost £3 and you can park for as long as you like in the car park at the rear of the rink. A significant saving!!

I wonder if anyone has spoken to Steve/Elaine about this to see how viable it is to get there early so we can lend our support to the Devils cause

Well as you know, nobody from the in-crowd listens to people under 25 years of age, so Whiskey or Wheeler (exception), see what you can do!

will your (cardiff's) new rink have seats with the backs on them?? Does it really matter when you're always on the edge of your seat anyway? That's what your like in Devils v Blaze game, right?

Here's some good news for all who are planning to join us for the march!
The management at the WNIR will give a drink voucher for use in Gretzkys Bar on 8th January as a token of thanks to every Blaze fan who takes part in the protest.
The vouchers will be handed out at City Hall so make sure you make yourself known if you're not wearing a Blaze jersey.

Does it really matter when you're always on the edge of your seat anyway? That's what your like in Devils v Blaze game, right? Not really, the previous couple of times have been a bit overrated. Plus, i do tend to get a bad back from time to time, and i'd appreciate something to lean on, if you get me?? Pandora, these drink vouchers, are they for any type of drink, or do they have to be alcoholic?? i don't drink Alcohol you see. (devout Muslim)!!

The drink voucher is for anything they sell behind the bar, including non-alcoholic drinks!

another (possibly) daft question here, i assume that Alcohol is dearer than, for example, Coca Cola. So do you get the monitary equivalent of whatever drink you get?? What i mean is, say a pint is £2.00, and Coke is £1.00, do you get 2 cokes if you don't like alcohol??

Sorry, one drink per voucher I'm afraid, whether it's alcohol or not.
