Great result fot the Lightning, reaching the final for the first time in their history. But I'm sad to see the FLYERS out, thought they could do-it after forcing a game 7.
Roll on Tuesday for Game 1 of the finals.

I thought the flyers would edge the bolts but the veterans( Roenick leclair primeau and amonte )were kept well at bay by tampa .They played really well and i think Calgary will struggle to keep pace with a young quick and gritty team glued together by big Dave A.

Brilliant come back by Tampa Bay, they deserved to win last night as they were the better team by far. 4 good goals and some good fights towards the end. Carry on playing like that and they could win it in 4 straight games!

I think it will be a much better performance by the Flames in Game 3 as the series goes back to Calgary, Alberta and it will be very noisy there.
I still think this series will go 6 or maybe 7 games and as it may be the last NHL game for a while I hope it goes the distance.
Should be a cracking game 3 tonight.

Some good fights last night all that was missing was a bench clearance. Tampa to go on and win

A shut-out for Kipper and the Flames last night in Game 3. Another good game, and like I said it was a much better Calgary performance, who lead the series 2-1. A solid game from Captain Iginla as well as Vinnie Lecavalier.
Game 4 Monday night
Flames for the Cup!

Tampa have got the flames rattled they have done all the hard work pulling it back to 2-2 if they can win game 5 on home ice it shold be all over

I agree, i think Tampa will win at home on Thursday, and since home ice doesn't make a difference (both teams one and lost one when playing at home) i think they will win the cup on Saturday in Calgary.
Don't know who will win MVP, i think Khabibulin should get, he has been a solid netminder for Tampa Bay making very few mistakes.
Who do you all think should get MVP?

I think Martin St Louis should get MVP so far he has been outstanding and i can see him scoring the winner to lift the cup for Tampa

What a game 5 a real barn burner end to end and no trap in sight got a bit more defensive to the end but still a great game deserved win for the Flames. Either netminder or Iggy for MVP.
Hope it goes to seven.

I think that the Flames will lift the Cup tonight, although I would not mind seeing a game 7 on Monday.
As for the MVP, it is probably going to be Kiprusoff or Khabibulin, but Iginla has played well, but I feel Keith Primeau of the Flyers should get it as he was excellent in the Play-Offs and most people seem to be making their choices from the final two teams - and the award is for the whole Play-Offs.
