There last goal was an empty netter and first was a break away. So we were unlucky- it sounds like it was quite even.

From what I saw of Belfast at the Sky Dome in the opening weekend of the season and from what I have been hearing I think they once again have the ability to be a top side and I am prety sure they will pick up some silverware this season. This is largley down to Tony Hand. I know I praise the guy on every opportunity but I do have my reasons. Not only is he technically a brilliant player but as a coach he had success with Dundee, did ok at Edinburgh and seemed to have Belfast playing some great hockey when I saw them. Obviousy his knowledge and experience of the game helps but I reckon the main thing is that he has the respect of all of his players, which creates a very disciplined team.
As for the Blaze, a win tommorow and it won't have been a terrible weekend.

1 goal in a game from 26 shots is OK by me We just need to take our chances more - no goals from 30 shots.

I think that the Giants deserved to win this one because they have been trying to win for ages and mainly got draws. The main thing is that both teams tried their hardest and everyone had fun

If nothing else it has finally got the monkey off our back of never having been beaten by the Giants as I could feel the tension a couple of weeks back at 3-1 down with 10 minutes to go

The main thing is that both teams tried their hardest and everyone had fun I agree with this, it was a great game and I still think that it is really hard to beat the atmosphere at the Odyssey. Those drummers are something else!!
