A point specifically relating to the the fracas on Sunday is - What were the Vipers playing at? Probably had a bit to do with adam charging at their bench, rightly or wrongly depending on your stance. But they were hardly going to let adam turn gallace into a crash test dummy without standing up for themselves.

Just because there are fights in hockey, that makes it more entertaining. Entertainment value gets people watching and at the end of the day television companies such as sky want to make money. Money is made by having a large audience, which ice hockey suits.

Totally wrong mate ice hockey is a minority sport everywhere at this moment in time.
The only reason sky wont show it is because we have no one to sponser it, KF concept sponsered the playoff highlight package. Until we have a sponser no shwoing on sky simple as that and the BBC or ITV wont show it because it gets lousey ratings

Another thing without a doubt it needs similar coverage camera wise that you get from say ESPN with replays etc to show in a replay how a goal or incident went down. .We tend to get a one or two camera angle show in the uk and even for an ardent fan its hard to follow the puck and the play and so for a casual viewer its a turn off.
