I thought this film was terrible. I thought it was incredibly boring, slow and annoyingly predictable. It was also just too cliche. I lost count of the amount of times I said "Oh, I didn't see that coming " to myself. I won't go into details cause I dont want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Now I know I don't like Superman anyway, but even if I did I don't think I would like this film. It was one of those films where I was constantly looking at my watch to see how long was left. Kevin Spacey was great as Lex and his parts were ok, although not great really, and the general acting in the film was fine, it was just the film itself that I didn't like at all. I really don't think it's worth paying to go and see it at the cinema, wait and rent it in a few months. Batman Begins and the Spider-Man films are a lot better than this poor attempt at a comic book superhero movie.
