Watched this dvd last night - what an excellent film : Set against the sweeping vistas of Wyoming and Texas, the story of two young men--a ranch-hand and a rodeo cowboy--who meet in the summer of 1963, and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connection that provides a testament to the endurance and power of love. anyone else seen it/reviews?

Well...it has given a whole new bunch of pop-culture jokes...especially the "I wish I knew how to quit you" line...
A college in America was censured, after its students welcomed an overt display of hugging by the opposition team (who incidentally were from Nevada) with chants of "Broke-back Moun-tain!"...
Superb...
As for the film itself...I've never really found films about gay cowboys to my taste, and after seeing this one.... I still don't. Didn't like it much at all...

Maybe it appeals more to women - I haven't seen it but my daughter loved it.
