Am I the only person that thinks that Sonia is one of the most annoying characters ever. She is one of the lognest serving characters too. Grant Mitchell has turned into a bit of a softy compared to how he was but he has been funny all the same.
Funny line last week.
Jane: Your Playing Chelsea to get at me. Grant: Thats not fair, I'v wanted to play Chelsea since I was a kid.

I stopped watching EE when DIrty Den last died. To be honest I found it repetitive with the ongoing "Who's the top gangster this week" question. The writers need to look at what makes the Street and The Dale work best and that is good characters that have endearing qualities.

Nice to see they are planning on mentioning the World Cup quite a bit this year. Even though episodes are usually fimed 6 to 8 weeks before they are shown they are planning on editing some episodes this year, so they can mention England scores.
They did do a good episode 6 years ago during Euro 2004 when everybody went down the Vic to watch England V Germany and Frank Butcher threw Robbie Jackson out. Then a few weeks later Robbie and his mates tried to get revenge by breaking into the Vic Italian Job style to rob some booze. One of the funniest storylines ever.
