Apparently the tabloids have announced who has been sending the cards to Gail. I'm not 100% sure but I think I know who it is now and the identity has dissapointed me as I hoped it would be someone less obvious.

The old characters do make me laugh. Unlike other soaps I think Corrie have got it spot on in the way they use the likes of Blanche and Norris for the less serious storylines and just for the laughs.

I'v missed a couple of episodes but from what I'v read I think its out of two people. One is quite obvious but I'm hoping its someone else although that someone else is a charcater without a real motive so if it did turn out to be him it could lead to a complete character transfermation.

You mean the former Arsenal and England star who scored a cracking goal against Belgium in the 1990 World Cup? I think its him too although I hope its not as it would be the most boring climax to a long running storyline ever. Unless of course it really was his footballing namesake sending the cards, now that would be a storyline. ;D

That's harsh  Kate Ford does play her well though and the Tracey/Charlie partnership has huge potential. Snippet of goss I heard the other day is that Becky Granger returns with her family in tow and they make the Battersy-Browns look like the upper classes |

Well even though the mystery of the Hillman Hoaxer appears to have been solved, if one tabloid is to be believed their is going to be a new twist in the storyline. That would be good, although some of the part-time Corrie fans may have stopped watching thinking the mystery is solved and therefore miss the twist anyway.
