Nice work PW was wondering when the likeness of a housemate to a forum member would come through ;D Hope "Bonner" lasts longer though Catch all the news on www.channel4.com/bigbrotherThat's the news and here's my views Bonner Sorry Bonnie. This Leicestershire lass made me think of Lesleh from last year. Could well be an early grey housemate who may struggle to impose herself on the bigger characters. Line about Davina that she stated is a real baffler. Likely to get rip roaring drunk whenever possible and who knows what might happen then. Let's hope it isn't another Kinga episode- hide the bottles Pete How long before the novelty of a Tourettes victim wears off? Far too physically volatile and hyperactive to remain endearing for much longer. Will either get patronised or mothered by many of the older housemates. Is likely though to run up records for nominations once his fellow housemates are in the santuary of the diary room George The now obligatory posh bloke. Possibly the most interesting thing this one will do early on is select his confidantes. I see a clash with Grace for some reason. His background shouldn't really cause any issues as such although his attitude will determine his fate. A good match for Nikki Shabaz Take a pinch of Kemal, add a touch of Brian, chuck in bits of Marco and coat with lashings of Chico (OK different show but still) and you have this Bay City Roller clad oddity. That said he probably will appeal to many and garner the votes in the Brian-effect way. My early tip to win. Will likely be solid entertainment for as long as he's in the house Lea Something to look out for next trip to Nottingham. Or maybe not. Alledgedly still a glamour model although she seems to be lacking the G word. My tip for first out. Only hope she doesn't take it all to heart as she did when booed on her entrance. It's only a game. I believe she is the first ever mother to enter the regular house. Imogen What is it with the Welsh femmes these days, following in the footsteps of Katherine Jenkins and of course Ms Church ;D Imogen is by far the numero uno in this years totty stakes. That usually translates as all female viewers will bankrupt themselves voting her off at the first opportunity. I for one hope not though Mikey Scouse lad certainly fancies himself, although the Vernon Kay look-a-like did himself no favours with his bio. This time last year a similar nasty bio from Craig was thought to be an act, how will this one go? His comments guarantee him the Maxwell-effect vote from the lads Dawn Bio full of venom and hatred then stepped out of the car door and was all smiles. Brummie who bizarrely looks like Makosis mum. Doesn't drink but will probably be dead centre of the major rows and arguments early on. Glyn The pin up of (Colwyn) BayWatch?? Again is this all in his head. The little boy lost geeky image could sneakily gain the mums vote although I get the feeling there is a nasty side to this one. Could be a sleeper to watch in later weeks Richard My first impression on seeing this one was that Dan and Jason from BB had had a love child ;D Another one who seems to be quoting from a rehearsed script. Apparently the aim from Endemol is to cultivate a gay relationship on the show following last years close miss. Richard and Shabaz already seem to get on well Grace Posh totty Grace will probably hibernate in a day or two as I don't see her integrating fully with the group. Should she survive the first month when the numbers start to thin out she may show what she's capable of but I don't see any hidden depths. Cute as a button though Lisa Why do I keep on thinking of that Fred Elliot/Orchid storyline on Corrie some years back? Potentially could be mvp in the early weeks. Seems unable to stop smiling and that stereotypical brassy northerner facade is likely to help her settle in and get noticed. A real dark horse to win. Sezer I predict that at least one Sunday red-top will have a headline "Sleazer" before too long. Should swap attitudal anecdotes about women with Mikey. Already gaining a strong disapproval in forum land for his arrogance. No middle ground with this one. Either first out or he's here on the final day Nikki Bubbly vacuous blonde who the producers hope will carry the Chantelle-factor in this series. Seemed to be amongst the first to be struck with the loud characters she's with when she (As did the others) tick their own boxes as the main one. If she allows the kooky side of her to shine she will gain public sympathy

Oh my god. I think channel 4 have picked a cast of actors rather than housemates of course thats part of the show, so it looks like channel 4 have done well with their selection. They must be delighted. (Before anyone points it out I know channel 4 don't make their own programmes.)
Bonnie - Don't like her
Pete - Tourettes is a very unsociable disability to live with. I know thats un PC, but that is just a simple fact.
George - I actually think hes all right.
Shabaz - I don't like him.
Lea - If I spent £35,000 on my body I would like to look a lot better than that.
Imogen - Yea I like her as well.
Mikey - Alright, some strong views about women playing sport, but I think hes alright.
Dawn - Could be interesting, although I will duck out of an opinion until I've seen more of the show. She looked like Makosis, but I don't know if she will be like her or not.
Glyn - Oh well, I'm sure he can buy a mirror that makes him look good, from somewhere. Probably from a goast house or somewhere like that.
Richard - The "sexual terrorist" has arrived. Apart from that though was it him that said he would do almost anything (in terms of upsetting housemates) to win £100,000.
Grace - Will duck out of an opinion until I've seeing more of the show.
Lisa - See my views for Grace.
Sezer - See my views on previous 2 housemates.
Nikki - Yea I like her, I wonder if her comments that she wants to marry a Premiership football for money could backfire though.
So based on first impressions the winner this year will be Imogen, with George and Mikey and depending if its 4 housemates Nikki for the final week.

Nikki seems to have taken the role of baby in the house. Richard and Shabaz will be at each others throats before too long. Sezer is a slimy get. Has Mikey left already without telling anybody? Dawn is coming across as a good listener. Glynn just looks out of place. Imogen is getting to grips with being the top female looker. The housemates have sussed out Pete's Tourettes condition and are supporting him. That said I think it was George who pointed out that it is a 24/7 syndrome which will occur when the rest are trying to sleep. Bonnie is far more likeable a day removed from her entrance. I don't see the point of Lea being there even if she is the first mother on the show. Grace only seemed to show a flicker of emotion when BB mentioned evictions. Kind of already gives away her basic game plan. Lisa is reminding me a bit of a mix of Sissy (BB6) and Emma (BB5). The holding back of suitcases is a bit stupid as once they are with the housemates their personalities have a chance to expand And finally "The Big Brotherhood" ? Not too disimilar to last years secret tasks

My god. Shahbaz is utterly, utterly, utterly hateful. He not only suffers from solipsism, but can't even accept an (undeserved) apology well. Let's just say my opinion of Sezer has changed somewhat for the better after watching the way he handled himself when it all kicked off. The comedian of the house so far is definitely Richard...his acid asides, particularly those aimed at Shahbaz, are beauties. And "let's hope Bonnie lasts longer", Steve? Than what? For those of you who are curious about the likeness, or know the aforementioned forum member and need some comparison, here you are...see if you can spot the resemblance to anyone you know... img239.imageshack.us/img239/4541/bonnie6no.jpg That shows her in a much better light than the chavette-snarling-"you-want-some?" profile pic released by C4...it's a pity about the earrings, though. The question is, though...is this a better look-alike than the one we had last year? ;D I'm also thinking (if attitude if not looks) that Sezer and one of the mods here are pretty similar at times...

Here's the acid question on many minds. Pete seems to be red hot favourite to win it with the bookies but are they basing the fact that his condition will garner a massive sympathy vote as we had 2 years agao with transexual Nadia won it despite the tabloids best efforts to put the public off her with their "Portu-geezer" branding?
Put another way if Pete didn't have Tourettes would he have enough about him to be likeable?
The cynic in me thinks that in time a good actor could pretend something for 13 weeks and win the hearts of the voting public if the sympathy vote did count above all other.
Onto the others. Shahbaz is really starting to annoy me and although I also don't particularly like the self claimed "Sexual Terrorist" Richard his barbed put downs of Shahbaz are legendary. Lisa could become annoying if she ever starts to take herself too seriously although this probably won't happen.
Question for PW- Bonnie Holt or Mary O'Leary- Which is the closest "look-a-like" ;D
Best thing thus far is that there is already so much to talk about and discuss and they haven't even started nominations or their first task yet.
Why no BBLB on weekdays at 6 o clock? Russell Brand needs a shave but his enthusiasm is catching and should take over the main programmes if Davina starts dropping her babies all over the place. The Golden Ticket winners won't go in until June 8th or thereabouts. Who ever owns Kit-Kat are onto a huge winner with this one. Suggestions in the papers that a cardinal rule of the show has been broken meaning one of or both Grace and Michelle could be evicted as they know each other from the outside. Not sure how this would be checked given that it isn't necessarily true that they would have been at the same auditions etc? When the numbers start to dwindle below 250 most of the follow ups are on a secretive one on one basis.
Definitely 8/10 so far

Bonnie...the Mary-a-like was close, but didn't have the same behavioural traits... This year's lookalikes could almost be twins from certain angles. I wonder if this year's look-a-like has been as quick to realise as last year's, though? Actually...based on lookalikes there's a good chance Bonnie and Mikey could become a couple.

Oh and we're getting into it a bit more now.
Shabaz is fake, hes a bully, hes trying to use Petes disability to gain favours from other housemates, hes continually trying to tell the housemates how well he is doing for them such as the recent example of the shopping list "I'm trying to think of you all when I do this" but all they have apparently ordered mostly is fish fingers, chips, and chocolate, he certainly won't listen, he thinks the whole world is against him when it isn't, he is always "acting."
And of course he is playing a big game, the most out of any housemates. He has already used Petes disability for favours, and is using the Big Brother hood to gain other favours from other housemates, (see the recent example with the shopping list.) Hes got Dawn who seems to believe anything he says (see bit about Dawn later on,) quite why I don't know, and is also seeming to use Lisa as well as she is the other founder member of the Big Brother hood. Only Sezer, and Richard seem to know what hes upto so far.
That said I think he should be kept in a few more weeks to annoy the housemates, but he no way deserves to win.
And Jo, I can understand why the other housemates have decided to turn on Shabaz. I would say he has brought it on himself.
In answer to your question Steve, put simply, I said that tourettes is a very unsociable disability to live with. And it is. And I know that I wouldn't like to be talking only for someone to be constantly saying the W word all the time, whistling, coughing all the time. It would be very off putting. And as George said it will be annoying when they are all trying to sleep. That said I think theres a difference between someone swearing directly at a person, and the way Pete swears which are just random outbursts of swearing.
Put simply though no I don't think he would win without his tourettes, thats all we've talked about so far. As for all the people in the BB show, on Thursdasy night they were all laughing at him (not with him.) And I admit I was as well. I don't think that makes me a bad person, (or does it) but people constantly laugh and joke about things they don't understand, thats how human nature is.
(Yes I know it can't be easy for Pete (or anyone for that matter) living with tourettes, but have they thought it through from the other side, that for people without it, listening to someone constantly swearing is difficult as well. And before anyone points it out, I know that not all people with tourettes constantly swear.)
Did you know that a first impression is made by people, of other people in the first 5 seconds, (normally without speaking, just by the clothes, and what they look like.)
Having said that people normally change their first impression of other people 90% of the time, once they have spent a week with them. Also I ducked out of a few housemates last time, so hear goes with new opinions about various people, and some first ones for those I have ducked out of last time.
Bonnie was upset, when Lisa mentioned her name in the diary room and understandably so. I like her a bit more then when she first entered the house though.
Pete I've already done so see above.
George quite quiet, but I liked him when I first saw him, and still do. I said I would like him in the final week, and still think that.
Shabaz I've already discussed above as well so see above.
Lea, I didn't really describe her personality last time (only her looks,) but I actually quite like her. I don't really like the idea of people spending money on their bodies, but as a person she is not too bad. She seems to be a good listener.
Imogen, still want her to win, although reading back I take Steves point about females voting her out. Erm yep quite nice though.
Mikey, erm yep still like him, and I think I wouldn't mind him in the final week.
Dawn. This could be a long one.
Steve said she comes across as a good listener in one of his previous posts. Looks like he was right, but he spotted it earlier than anyone else did on this forum. Theres a big but coming up though.......
BUT (see told ya)
Could this be to her cost. In the end I mean. Will people play the game against her. Will she listen to everyone, and will it backfire, particually if shes the one they always come to with problems. Will people get upset with her, if they are coming to moan to her about other people. WIll she believe them, (she seems to be believing Shabaz so far, which I can't believe myself.) Will she always listen, but nbever do anything herself. Being a listener can be good, but not if you just believe anyone ever says without question. Her "she doesn't want to make friends" remark, in the interview tape, doesn't actually appear to be true though, although she maybe a listener to "gain favours" as well, thinking about it some more I'm now confused as to why she listens so much. Be interesting what others think of Dawn.
Glyn - Well not as bad as when he first came in.
Richard - I didn't really give out too much info of what I thought in my first impressions but he seems to be another listener in the house. He also seems to be the one that wants to calm situations down before they happen. Oh and yes without wishing to copy anyones other posts, his put downs of Shabaz are good and funny.
Grace - I'm going to skip this housemate once more. I should be allowed to duck out of an opinion for one housemate twice, and I'll choose her until I've seen more of her. Not really stood out yet.
Lisa - Well it will be interesting to see how her becoming a leader of the Big Brother hood, affects her relationships with others in the house. So far its obviously being in a negative way with Bonnie.
Sezer - "Sezers palace" he said as he walked in, (only remembered once I saw Fridays programme,) and I first thought I would not like him. But now I seem to. He and Richard are the only ones who have spotted Shabazs game plan. Obviously fanices himself with the ladies as well. With 14 housemates he says he is in it for the long term, and is not too noticeable yet, but just about noticeable for us to notice he is in the house. Obviously wants to win, but doesn't really have a game plan in mind.
Nikki - You can imagine Nikki when she was 3 years old saying to her mum "I want water," and infact you could still imagine it now. All that fuss just because she didn't want to drink tap water, which is perfectally drinkable. My god, just wait until they fail a task and they have a basic food budget. Moaning will get her nowhere in the house. Maybe not such a good housemate to have in the final week at all. So what we've all woke up with headaches sometimes, and wanting a drink of water, I don't ever remember moaning to anyone else ever about it myself. So what if she hasn't got her suitcase 11 of the 14 housemates are also in the same situation and will just have to make do. Methinks that BB should have some fun, by giving the other housemates their suitcases apart from Nikki, who will have to make do for a further week. It would be cruel and funny to see someone suffer just because they don't want to drink tap water, but she would have brought it on herself.
Some general comments then.
First of all we don't all have E4. I agree with Steve BBLB should be on weekdays on channel 4 at 6:00pm. It has been in all the previous years afterall, why is it different this year.
Kitkats, the first golden ticket has been won, (not by me,) probably some others have as well. The first winning ticket was sold on ebay, I would probably sell it to a newspaper to make some money if I won one.
That said some individual normal kitkat bars are being sold on ebay for over £1,000. These are normal kitkat bars that might win a golden ticket, not winning ones themselves. Madness. Roald Dahl was right, its difficult to tell fact from fiction.
Notimations tomorrow then, with results on Tuesday. Shabaz is emune from eviction thats good for him otherwise he might have been up. I think Nikki and Sezer might be up, with Nikki going.

I found the discussion between Shahbaz and Glynn about the latters discomfort when touched by a tactile gay man very disconcerting as Shahbaz was trying to twist things to make the lifeguard look homophobic. Glynn should have taken a page out of Richards book and made it personal that it was only Shahbaz he had a problem with. I found his constant talking over people to be very boorish also.
Week 2 is definitely bye bye Shahbaz unless he somehow wins immunity. Big question though is if he goes so early how will the vaccuum be filled? Shades of Kitten perhaps?
There are definitely a few trying to fly under the radar early on- Mikey, George, Grace, Bonnie to name but 4. Others are attempting to fit into the mother/father/baby roles in a bid to make themselves unexpendable.
Haven't mentioned it yet but I love the diary room this year. The black and gold is fab.

Oh heck, well I can't believe another word that Shabaz says, I certainly don't believe he was a rent boy once, got his £10 nicked, and went to prison.
How long before he says it was some "acting" or a test set by himself, or even by BB.
Also he knew that they would all be watching him in the diary room, but the best people simply get on with the job thats part of being in the BB house.
And of course, his acting in the party didn't fool me either.
He always thinks he has to accounce everything such as yesterday when Richard goes into the bedroom to say to Lea that shes the next member in the Big Brotherhood, but of course Shabaz has to say he wants to do it.
Anyway I wonder what "tales" we will get in tonights eposide.
Update on the Big Brother hood, Grace, Richard, and Lea are now in it and are all imune from eviction. There is also one other housemate (I read teletext) but if you don't have E4, and are waiting for tonights show I won't spoil it for you.
Just one small request please that I would make is that some of us only have channel 4, so if your posting something that has say happened earlier in the day or the day before, that some of us might not know, and might not want to know, please warn us. Thanks in advance. This hasn't happened yet to be fair.

I take it we all caught the latest hissy fit from ShowBaz? I seriously despise this fool now more than Darren (BB1), Marco (BB5), Michelle (BB5) and Maxskia (BB6). I wouldn't blame the others if they decided to smack the fool around a bit.
Lea has gone up in my estimation for when she defended Lisa. Dawn is unwittingly very funny at times. Still don't like Seazer that much. And still whenever Richard is on the screen it seems to be Dan Bryan putting on an accent.
Funniest thing is watching the way Nikki stretches her mouth when she enunciates ;D

Well just in case anyone didn't heres the latest acting from him today. (Of course I know that its Sunday but I mean tonights show.)
His fake tears at "messing up" the shopping list. (Hes done that on purpose so everyone could feel sorry for him.)
His "broken ribs" when Grace landed on him after jumping. (BB didn't show this however, so I have not seen it.)
His argument with Sezer, after Sezer tried to talk to him about Grace landing and "breaking his ribs." Also shouting at Pete, I don't know why Pete defended him, of course Shabaz is using Petes disability to his advantage, maybe Pete has not realised it yet.
His silly attuitude over the task given by BB, with the leaders picking a random gift for each housemate. Leaders meant Shabaz and Lisa but of course he just wanted to do it himself, without even discussing it with Lisa.
Shouting at Lisa calling her a f imberseal even though he clearly had no idea of what the word actually meant.
Of course hes had a "tough life" but he seems to think he can insult anyone he likes. Not true of course.
Then of course he mentioned himself as a Pakistani poof, as though thats all the other housemates were thinking that of him. From what I've seen theres only himself with the problem about himself being gay, and only him with a problem about him being a foreign national, none of the other housemates have even mentioned it.
Finally for those who didn't see it he threw various items of food and drink into the bin. I'd love the housemates to find out it was him, and then to claim that was his portion of food in the bin, so he could either eat food from the bin, or go without. Well thats what happens where I live anyway.
So thats about it then for today from the Shabaz show.
As for general comments well Sezer is now in the Big Brother hood, thats well funny as they didn't know which gifts was which (although the bike was obvious,) and Shabaz hates Sezer the most, although now he claims hes getting to like him (before shouting at him.)
I reckon the housemates should ignore Shabaz from now on, and he can only blame himself, his bullying tactics have not worked at all. And thats the only word that can be used to describe his actions. So Jo we have (and the housemates have) given him a chance, but its his fault.
Finally I love the way in which Shabaz trys to wind up the housemates, it doesn't work, as they either ignore him, or find a witty comment, and then it just leaves Shabaz to lose his temper, after hes the one that started it all. It reminds me of that annoying kid we've all met in the playground at school, you ignore him, and he just ends up making everyone laugh.

This years Big Brother is by far the best one so far.. I don't usually watch the start as it's always pretty boring.. but this year i'm hooked - to the point i'm excited for 9pm to come along.. sad?? yep.. lol
i like all of the house mates, except bonnie and showbaz.. he's sooo irritating...!! I'm not sure how true he's being but with Big Brother having people to watch him in case he does commit suicide.. i do feel sorry for him. And, also after the canadian guy was talking about him, telling people not to even notice he's there.. it's a little harsh.. in my opinion..
Nikki is soo funny.. reminds me a little of myself.. hopefully *not* as dippy though...
Pete to win!! Hehe..

Maybe he has said to BB that he might committ suicide, but will change his mind tomorrow, and then claim that it was a "bit of acting." Not really that harsh as Richard has said that is clearly what he wants, he won't listen when they are talking to him, so why should they bother. (One of his habits, is if someone is talking to him face to face, and they are critical of him, he will look at someone else, talk over the person orignally talking to him, and ask the other person (usually Dawn) "is that true.") Don't like Nikki, she should have her suitcase denied for an extra WEEK, after her "I want water" moan to BB. Why Pete to win?
