The caps fans reckon some of our songs are a wee bit naff - we need more for the playoffs. Had to come up with some on the coach down - you can do better ;D To the tune of "camptown races" Oooooh! - he was a Viper, Now he's Blaze Weaver! Weaver! He was a Viper, Now he's Blaze Jon-athan Weaver, Supposed to play in D He likes to go score goals He was a Viper, Now he's Blaze Jon-athan Weaver ----- Can't name the tune, but it makes sense when you hear it  Oh! Trevor Koenig Elite-League-Leading-Goal-Tending Super-Star We really need something for Archer, the wee guy is brilliant - he deserves his own song. |

"He's big, he's quick, but his arrow-shooting's s..., Archer..."  Seriously...and you may look like a muppet singing it but even Blaze fans should be able to remember this one... To the Macarena... Go, Jimmy, go, jimmy, go, jimmy, jimmy (x3) Heeeeyyy, Jimmy Archer! Job done. And we had a song for every player on the roster this season, as many of them were returnees and some had had a song since the treble year or even before...it just didn't help that they never got sung or were performed by inebriated persons first... Sylvain has his name sang to "Go West" (I knew that one would work best..  Danny Stewart has Tom Hark (as used by Andre Payette) "Super Jonny Weaver" is nice and easy... Dan Carlson had "Amore"... Adam Calder has "Reach Up" Neal Martin has...well...you'll have heard it on Sunday. Curtis Huppe had "Huppe and you know it"...which didn't really work. Matty has The Seaside Song from his last time at the club (you sing "Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside" and shout his name instead of doing the brass-band noise) Trevor Koenig has the song that gets sang for every bloody minor save he makes... Tom Watkins had "Super Tommy" Barrie Moore had his theme... It's not like the material wasn't there-no-one can be arsed to sing anymore since the glory days of a few seasons ago... In fairness-the Caps can't talk when they used "Let's get ready to Stutzel" as one of their best...  |

To the tune of "your so vein" "YOUR SYLVAIN, I BET YOU THINK THIS SONG IS ABOUT YOU" knicked from from Arsenal when they had Sylvain Wiltord....and its not Go West...its something by KC and the Sunshine band...cant remember the name of the top of my head but i have it on my iPod.

In terms of chants i think in all opinion we are lacking in ability...go to football and there be some bloody brilliant ones...though not been able to use naughty words at the skydome does re-strict potential

some of you may remember it as the "evan Cheverie" song, just obviously replacing "evan Cheverie" with super Sylvains name..
