Following Blaze 4-1 win in Basingstoke tonight and Edinburgh's 2-1 win in Sheffield I now believe the line-up for the Playoff Quarter Final has been decided.
Edinburgh Capitals V Coventry Blaze
Manchester Phoenix V Sheffield Steelers
Cardiff Devils V Nottingham Panthers
Newcastle Vipers V Belfast Giants

I have a feeling it could be...
Capitals
Phoenix
Panthers
Giants
in Nottingham. Phoenix are a far better side than many give them credit for and so are Edinburgh...
Obviously I'd like to see the Blaze in there but it's by no means a certainty.

For me it's predictable but-

Steelers
Panthers
Giants
I feel the firepower that those four team's possess should just about see of each opponent. Although each leg won't see any walkover's and we all know how unpredictable hockey is.
One big worry- Colin Hemmingway.

Blaze currently lead Newcastle 3-1 at the end of the second period. Should Blaze win then I'm off to Nottingham tommorow.

According to the blaze web site, the 3rd period is only being covered on internet radio, and as I have also lost the connection, I don't think we can access coverage. I've just texted Anne who is at the game for updates but she hasn't replied yet
